| My baby girl is sick and I need advise!! So I woke up this morning and Molly had completely covered her potty patch with serious diarrhea and then went on the floor too because there was no more room on the patch. She has had a little bit earlier on in the week but it was just soft stool not full on runny. Her stools have been fine the past couple of days until this morning. I had to wash her off then clean up the place. I gave her less food than normal but didn't fast her since I knew I had class tonight after work and wouldnt be back until later. When I got home it was the same story. I haven't changed anything. Same food for the past 3 months, same bag for the past 2 weeks and it's not expired. Same treats same schedule and drinking the same amount of water. I can't figure out what's wrong and I can hear her poor little tummy rumbling from being upset. Also she is 6 months old, not spayed, an weighs about 2.5 pounds. I'm in te process of making her a little rice because I read that's good but idk. I'm going to take her to the vet first thing but I need some advise from fellow yorkie mommies because I'm freakig out. Please help what should I do??? |

| With one that small, yes a trip to the Vet is in order. I pray she will be feeling better soon.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Hopefully it is just a minor tummy upset but it's good you're taking molly to the vet. With these little ones it's best to make sure. Keep us posted please.

| I am glad your taking her to the Vet. I never take chances with Georgie because of his size. It could be just minor tummy irritation. Keep us posted on your sweet girl.

| Last night I made her some rice and she went to town on it. This morning was better but still pretty bad. I was at the vet right when they opened and the doctor is pretty optimistic considering she still acts like her normal self. They tried to get a stool sample but no luck. They are keeping her for the day to try and get a sample and just monitor her so hopefully I'll know something by the end of the day. I love my vet and all of her staff, they treat my little girl so well so if she isn't worried then I feel a little better. Just ready for her to feel better! |
