| Shivers Bella was spayed 4 days ago as some of you might have ran into my prior post. She's a lot better now. She's eating and actually trying to play which makes me feel a lot better also. She's almost totally back to normal, the Only thing that worries me is that for the past two nights she's been shivering and now that I'm laying in bed with her she's also shivering like comes and goes, when I hug her she links stops. Does anyone have any ideas what it might be? Shes not Acting lethargic or anything, she seems perfectly fine which is the weird part. My vet is closed till Tuesday, so before I think of calling an animal hospital I wanted to see if anyone had suggestions. Thanks |

| The first thing that I thought of was did the vet give you an antibiotic for after her surgery and if so, have you been giving it to her? My first thought is of infection, which would cause her to have a fever, hence the shaking - or the second thing, like the OP said, pain. I would not hesitate with these little ones and take her in to the Emergency vet - better safe than sorry is what I always say. That said, I wish I would have seen your post sooner. Hope your little one is better!

| Yeah thank you for your responses! I took her to the vet and her temperature was fine. And they said everything looked good, of course she didn't do it while she was there so they really couldn't see what I was talking about. She's still doing it, a little less tho. I thought maybe she's in pain or feeling discomfort but when your in pain you don't wanna play or anything and she's playful n all. |
