| oh yes, i'm sure there so so much joy when then 3rd and 4th came through! thats a ray of light in this situation! i'm not familar at all with birthing puppies. it's there a trouble "window" that passes. or are the mom and puppies still in danger? |

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | Oh they are still in danger. But pups are nursing so that's a good sign. So much can always go wrong. She still has not passed the last placenta. But she has been on the phone with two different vets and they say just to watch closely.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | She needs an shot of oxycontin to pass the remaining placenta and waiting puts her life in jeopardy.

| Oh my goodness, sending prayers that the two puppies and Momma will be okay This vet needs to be reported to the proper authorities, as what he did was so incompetent I would definitely have a different GOOD vet check Momma and the pups out thoroughly ASAP. Especially if a placenta is not accounted for, she'll need a shot to help with that. OH, man what a terrible situation, I'm so sorry for this little Momma

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | Another update. Momma ended up having surgery this am. There was a puppy stuck. She will be spade while in surgery. Now let's hope she comes out of this and able to raise these two little girls. I have shared the whelping pudding recipe. And the liver recipe just in case they become weak. I offered my services if she needed. I would gladly step in and feed them if the momma can not. I just want these two little girls and momma to be alright. Hoping the vet sent them home with milk replacer just in case. Will update when I know more

This poor unfortunate momma is probably exhausted from delivery...she is going to probably need oxy to expell that last placenta...sometimes just giving her some glucose will give her enough "ooommphhhffff" to expell that last placenta....give her about 3 inches of NutriCal to lick off the owners finger.....and then watch her....let her rest a couple hours and if she still has not expelled the placenta, she needs oxy or Ca....trip to the vet is in order. | |

| Thanks for keeping us all up to date on this Momma and her new girls. I have been thinking of them all evening and hoping that all was well. I'm sorry that she had to have surgery but it's good that they got in there in time before something terrible happened to Momma. Continuing prayers for all
