| Canned pumpkin will work to stop diarrhea, and it also works to stop constipation... I don't know why but it does. Green beans (about 3 whole, chopped up) may help him move his bowels too. Can be given with food or separately as a treat.

| [QUOTE=LondonRee;3907670]I'm on constant poo watch! I'll take him out later, and hopefully it will have a shape again, like the last one. Never have I looked at so much poo! One of the best ways to tell if a dog is at a healthy state is to check for poo and about poo. I have 5 dogs and sometimes we are on constant pooduty because several of them are seniors. Even with puppys,if you suspect that they have ingested something that they should not have ,you find yourself with a ziplock bag, with poo in it,searching to make sure that it came out the other end. There is a bit of humor to be found in all of this, but sometimes it is the only way that you can tell an animal is doing well. |

| Pumpkin is a wonderful source of fiber and has high water content. If your pet is constipated, the fiber in the pumpkin will soften the stools. If your pet is experiencing diarrhea, the fiber in the pumpkin will absorb the water in your pet's digestive system which will help make the stools firmer. It works believe me. Not the pumpkin we use for pie with spices but plain. Not hard to find and a good idea to always keep on hand.

| he just pooed! Thank flip for that. It had been ages! It wasn't super firm, but was definitely shaped, and not liquid. I really hope this means he's settling in and his belly is getting better. I walked the whole way home cheering! I'll stick with the chicken for a bit longer. |

| Sounds like he is getting better. Sometimes it is the little things that make you thrilled for your yorkie,,,like pooing normal or pottieing in the correct place (not on your rug). |

| he he, thanks! he is definitely finding his personality a little more now. He likes a snuggle after a walk, and will nudge my hand everytime I dare not rub him. Like a proper bossy boots. I had been worried I wouldn't love him, but I think we're starting to become good mates now ;-) |

| Things look better, I'm happy for you both. They seem to appreciate all you do for them and it's probably love at first sight for him....and you.
