HELP! My 7 y/o girl can't use her back legs

I clipped her and bathed her last night. She didn't care for it but she had both mommy & daddy there. Mia was a good girl and stayed in her room not making a peep. Cali was very happy once she was dry and she got a treat. She is so soft and fluffy with beautiful clear eyes and smelling all good. I could just eat her up!

What about disposable doggie diapers? That keeps the urine from getting on her little legs.....it will keep her drier and more comfortable....I always put a pair of panties on over the diaper so they dont tear the diaper off....

Thanks for the suggestion! I don't think she needs them as she only dribbles urine at times and her left toe gets in it b/c she tries to squat and can't move it that wide. It makes me wonder if she has a hip problem...? Anyway, I'm trying to help her maintain as much independence as possible and she's starting to walk around the entire house.

UPDATE: Cali had her bath last night and feels great! She is so tiny...lost weight and her skin is lose. I'm worried about her but you would never be able to tell something is wrong with her by looking into her eyes. She runs everytime we bring her outside (in the evenings) and she walks around the house a bit more...even without her socks. I'm so proud of her.

UPDATE: So Cali is doing well. She has days of better mobility but overall she can do things herself and that makes me so happy. 2 weeks from today is her followup and I can't wait. Anyway, yesterday I noticed her belly was distended and bloated. She did have a bowel movement but I was concerned b/c it happened overnight. We watched her all day and she acted normal. Today she is still normal but I called my vet b/c I'm concerned of side effects from all her meds. He said to talk with Neurology on our F/U about Grade IV Laser (K Laser) as a replacement for her meds. He also said that she could have iatrogenic Cushings from the Prednisone. My concern was asictes from the Dilantin. Anyway, she is acting normal but I really want to start weaning some of these meds. Her appt can't come quick enough. Does anyone have any suggestions or comments about the laser &/or her meds? Here's the link to the laser: Veterinary K-LaserUSA

I'm glad to read that Cali is doing so much better.
My Vet uses the Lasar Treatments and has had a lot of success with it.
My SIL's Schnauzer is fixing to start this treatment.

I have lots of abdominal pain...will it help with that or is it mainly musculoskeletal?

This is great news...glad Dessa is using her front leg. I've slacked on the updates since not much has changed but I did correspond with Dr. Ortinau this morning about Cali's bloated belly. We will be taking her to the vet on Friday to have blood drawn to check her liver. I think she is OK b/c she's acting completely normal. We have 2 weeks till her F/U and I can't wait to start weaning some of these meds!

UPDATE: Cali has been doing well. She has her moments but I've been very proud of her and how she has handled her limitations. We have our follow up a week from today so I'll be posting what happens. Hopefully she will remain the same even when we wean her meds. This is the part that really scares me since she has been on Dilantin/Tramadol/Valium every 8 hours for over a month now...
