I'm so glad that Cali is recovering!....I hope she continues and is back to her old self soon.

Cali and Mia both are beautiful!!! I am so glad Cali is recovering so well!!! I am keeping Cali and your family in my thoughts and prayers!!! We took Dessa to MSU today. They are amazing there!!! I'm about to update my thread!!! I'm so thankful that Cali is doing so well!!!

UPDATE: We took Cali outside today for her daily 10 minutes in the backyard. She ran numerous times. She must have longed to do that all those days she was locked in her little ICU cage with stiff hind legs. I'm so happy that she is having a fulfilled life. I know she's happy. She gets more & more of her feisty attitude back every day. Her bark is slightly stronger and so are her back legs....I actually lost her today when I put the socks on her back feet and she went roaming. I found her in the kitchen, of course, looking for crumbs of some sort. I'm careful to ease her back into activity but she wants to go-go-go.

I don't know what I would've done without all of your prayers. I KNOW they made a difference and I can't say Thank You enough times. This site has some wonderful, thoughtful, caring posters.

Oh my this is such good news to read. WTG Cali. Prayers do still continue for her.

She is doing so good. Our biggest problem is managing her meds (every 8 hours) and urine is getting on her legs and paws. This isn't an issue when I'm home most of the day but I have a few long days at work. As a matter of fact, we are going to try and bathe her tonight. If I'm home, I just clean it off with baby wipes. My husband has a camera on them so he can watch them from work all throughout the day. It's great having that peace of mind.

I'm so glad she is doing so well! A bath should make her feel much better. A camera is a great idea.

What about disposable doggie diapers? That keeps the urine from getting on her little legs.....it will keep her drier and more comfortable....I always put a pair of panties on over the diaper so they dont tear the diaper off....
I am just so happy that little soul is doing so well!
