UPDATE: Thanks to all of you for the prayers, comments, and encouragement. I worked really hard with Cali today and she has shown improvement. I was out of town this weekend and my husband doesn't do her ROM 3X/day like I do. I think that had something to do with it. Anyway, she got better by the end of the day when I focused on her. I'm still going to see about a chiro and she has an appt tomorrow for rehab so I'll see what that vet says as well. Off topic: her haircut is adorable...the pic just doesn't do it justice. She has an actual "bob". The kind that people get where it is shorter in the back and longer in the front. I'll try to get a face shot of her to post. Mia is precious as well and has been wonderful through all of this. |
I've sat and read all about your beautiful baby, can't stop cyring. I will keep her in my prayers. It's been a long time since I've been on the site and I'm seeing how much I miss. My Kelsey's hind legs stopped working last Thursday, we rushed her to the vet and she is on medications and crate rest. Reading your posts has helped me with tons of information. I love Cali's new haircut. Dessa got one on Monday. I'll post pics soon. I'm keeping precious Cali in my thoughts and prayers!!! Dessa still has a slight limp, but is otherwise almost back to her normal self. Both your babies are so ADORABLE!!! |

UPDATE: Cali is doing good. She has stiff days but then we can loosen her up when we play. I haven't brought her to the chiropractor yet because I've been ill all week. However, my rehab vet gave me a referral. I'll update again soon. Thanks for your continued prayers and support! |
UPDATE: Hi All! Just wanted to update everyone on Cali's progress. She is doing very well. She has good days (minimal stiffness) and bad days (stiff) but more good than bad. She is happy and not in any pain. She went to her last day of therapy today so I've posted a link to the facebook page. Check it out as I put Mia in the water treadmill with her and they walked together, LOL! They were so cute. Meds: Weaning Prednisone more by giving her a dose every 2 days. I'm so happy that precious Cali continues to improve. I am keeping her in my thoughts and prayers. Dessa is celebrating her 5th Birthday today and is about 98% back to normal. It still baffles us as to what it was that caused it. I'm just so thankful that Dessa and Cali are healing. I sure believe in the power of prayers!!! |

Cali is just great! She had a few "stiff days" and it was very difficult for her to get around but we took her to get laser treatment, stretched her, and now she's doing better. We finally have a chiro appt for her on Monday. I'll post an update afterwards.:D |

I would like to make a special request from all my YT friends out there...PLEASE send out prayers for Cocoa...my friend's Siamese kitty. He went in to a local vet for a routine neuter and has been having kidney failure and bladder death ever since (over 2 weeks now). He's been gone almost 3 times now and if the vet (mine, not the one that did his surgery) can't get his bladder to start working again, it's decision time for my friend. I hate to see anyone lose a pet so soon...he is only 1.5 years old! Thanks In Advance! |
I am so sorry your friend and her kitty are going through this. How horrible and sad. Of course, I will say prayers for the kitty. Let us know how he is doing. |
