Need a little yorkie prayer. Just need a little yorkie prayer for my 8 year old yorkie Jacques Pierre deMolay...he's been battling sickness for a few weeks...we have been doing vet trip every few days to relieve the fluid build up and to make him as comfortable as possible...been performing Pawspice at home to make it as peaceful as possible. For those of you who have lost a dear yorkie, guess you know what I'm going through...so hard to let go, yet so hard to linger on...I want his journey to be safe...he has been my rock through my darkest of days, I have literally hung on to life because of him..maybe that was his purpose in my life...we've only been apart a couple of weeks during the entire 8 years...he's my world...and now he's about to crossover to the 'other' world where he will wait for me. It's not what I have taught him, it is what he has taught me...to wag your tail when you're happy, to roll around in the spring clover just cause it feels good, to never back down from those bigger and badder than yourself, to give sloppy puppy sugars to the one you love every day and most of all to love uncondtionally. :animal-pa:animal-pa |

My prayers are with you during this hard time :( Hoping that all the great memories will help when the time comes. They are so much a part of our life and unconditional love/bonding that it is sad that we have to let them go when the time comes. I'm so sorry. :cry: I haven't lost a yorkie, but have lost other dogs. I can already tell that losing a yorkie will be much harder and I've only had mine for 3 1/2 months. My thoughts are with you. You expressed everything so beautifully. |

Oh, little Jacques Pierre, may you know a painless, peaceful walk out of this life into that better one. Thank you for all the kind thoughts & prayers. Thank you everyone for all of your thoughts and prayers. It is helping me get through the night. Jacques Pierre lost his battle with cancer late tonight. I was with him until the very end holding his poor little body. It's a long lonely night. I'm finding comfort that he is no longer suffering and not in any more pain. Jacques was my pride & joy. Just two months ago he did his famous escape out the front door, running down the street with me chasing behind, he had is cute little baby face turned back looking at me as if to say 'catch me if you can', and I finally did...tonight he had that same little baby face with those beautiful almond eyes looking at me, but I couldn't catch him this time. I'm so sorry to hear about your baby. I had to put my little Cody to sleep the day after christmas. He had CHF, a stroke and possibly blood clots. He was the love of my life and I miss him dealy everyday. It was the most difficult decision to make and if was to every get better he would never be the same. I would have been 7 years old next month. I do have Max and Molly (they are puppies) and I love them, but they will never replace my precious Cody. The rainbow bridge is comforting and I know someday I will meet up with him again. My prayers are with you through this difficult time that you are going through. Debbie |
I cried reading your beautiful posts about Jacques Pierre. If wishing and love made it so, we would be able to protect our babies from harm and illness. You might not have been able to catch your sweet baby this time, but it sounds like you spent his lifetime loving and caring for him. I lost my little angel, Ashley, in June right before her seventeenth birthday and her sisters a few years before that, so I understand how great your loss is. Your precious little boy will always occupy a soft spot of your heart filled with an overflowing, everlasting love. Jacques Pierre will forever be a part of you. I hope that his love and the memories that you have of him shield you from the great sadness that you are feeling and that whenever you think of him, it will be great joy instead of the pain you are feeling now. I am deeply sorry for your loss. |
