| My baby girl might be pregnant HELP! My baby boy ripped of my Chloe's diaper during her heat and they hooked up. That was 5 weeks ago. Last night she had diarrhea and is vomiting! This can't be because she's pregnant is it! Please I need advice! ASAP

| The proper term is they "tied". It's not likely that she is vomiting due to pregnancy, but she most likely is pregnant. Is she showing any signs? It would probably be a good idea for you to have her checked by a vet so you know for sure, and you can be prepared. That will give you time to educate yourself and to get all the necessary supplies. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. PS the only fool proof birth control when you have an intact male, is to keep the completely separated at all times. |

| are you kidding?? ok.. not trying to be rude.. but if you know they already tied, why wait until right before she delivers to wonder if she is pregnant? Just trying to understand. Anyway, absolutely she more than likely is due to have puppies SOON. Diapers and belly bands will NOT keep dogs from mating. Has she been to the vet yet? How big is she and how big is he? what are thier ages? I am going to assume for the time being that you did NOT INTEND them to mate. If that is true, is there a reason why one or both were not spayed/nuetered? Looks like you need to learn a whole bunch in a short period of time. check out this website Dog Breeding and Canine Reproduction by Debbie Jensen. Dog Breeding and Whelping guide for dog breeders. study the links on the far left of the page. It will help you gather up your supplies and help prepare you. Good luck. Hope she has a safe whelp ps.. I just noticed you are NOT a NEW member but have been here a long time.. That makes this even more puzzling to me. I really do wish you the best with whelping

| Look...I have bred AKC Pomeranians for 11yrs. So I know whelping and canine pregnancy....I am just unsure about the diarrhea with pregnancy...None of my other bitches ever did this. I was out of town when she came into her heat cycle and tied/hooked up. She was about a month early on her heat. I did not expect her to come into heat and even have the calendar marked out for 6months from her last heat. She has no signs of pregnancy. and would be 30 days today (counting from the day they hooked up....She is not due until approx. May 23. I have a vet appointment. They scheduled it for this coming week due to the fact that without invasive means would have been very difficult for him to detect pregnancy. I am by no means a irresponsible pet owner. If you have read my other posts you would know this! My daughter puppy sat for me and put the doggie diaper on her. I didn't know my male yorkie would be so aggressive! He still has not dropped. Please don't ASSUME anything!

Whether or not she intended for them to mate at sometime in the future is totally irrevelant at this time. She is not the first person that has had an accidental mating She has already learned that diapers do not prevent pregnancy. Did you come here to judge, or to help>?

And what does reading a persons past posts have to do with being respectful. Shouldn't everyone be treated with respect regardless of whether or not they are a breeder or a long time member. Someone could come on here with their first post and be an experieced breeder.

| I would take her to your vet for an xray, that way you can be sure. They can start whelping between 60 and 65 days. Good Luck to you |

| Update! Chloe is pregnant and in very good health. Her doctor said it was a stomach bug, just like we get as humans. Thanks to all that tried to help!
