This has all frazzled my nerves and brought back memories. I am praying for Livi and for YOU. I'll check back again later.

OK, guys....they did call me again...about an hour ago. She said that Livi is free to go whenever we get there...which has to be when my husband gets off work. She should be home in maybe an hour and a half. My husband also called them earlier this afternoon (:rolleyes:)...yes, we were probably driving them crazy. They told him that he would be shocked at how great her spirits had been since starting meds. She also told him that she is up looking around...just acting great. :) They are sending her home with a catheder. :confused: and they want her back in the morning to check her and I *think* to remove the catheder. There are soooo many questions that I forgot to ask when she called me. In fact, I hate to do this but I am going to call them and ask. Makes me nervous to feel like I am bugging them, but my husband won't remember to ask when he picks her up.

Wish us luck for a good night!! Also, will you continue to keep us in your thoughts....the puppies still need it. :(

Ann- I don't know...do you? I tried calling them, but the tech was not where she could speak. Hopefully, Geoff will ask.

Does anyone know why??

:D I'm going to guess an IV catheter...:D

Don't ever feel bad or embarassed to ask your vet questions.... You're paying them, which makes you the boss, and they work for you. If they make you feel bad or rushed... then that would be time to look for a new vet. Praying all goes well tonight... Get some rest!:D

Oh...duh! I even knew that because I have it written right here in front of me when they told me what all they had done. :rolleyes: I am too tired!

I"m sure she misses her momma and the babies.
Did he say if she will be able to nurse the puppies ??

I thought the same thing as Ann...seems strange...I was thinking they were leaving (I am not medical so forgive me) the attachments in her leg for drips and liquids so if she goes down again they can immediately hook her up...Yorkies have such small veins it can sometimes be a problem...
