| My Yorkies Leg Is Broken! Hi all. My Yorkie jumped off the bed about 2 hours ago which put her in alot of pain. We rushed her to the vets who said they think it could be a broken leg and are keeping her in overnight and are going to use anethetics on her to get an xray etc. She is only 10 months old, how serious is this? Has anybody else had a yorkie with a broken leg? I feel sick with worry Thanks. |

| I'm so sorry Daisy is injured. She's a very beautiful little girl. Like Mom to Hot Rod said, there have been others on YT with broken legs. It can be serious but I think she'll be fine because you took her in so quickly. Welcome to YT! Please be sure to keep us updated, and we'd love to see more pics of Daisy when you get a chance.

| My puppy broke its paw few month ago. He had to walk in cast for 2 months but now the cast is off and he is walking fine. Since your puppy is still young, that would mean if his brone is broken, it would heal faster than a normal adult dog. |

| I'm so sorry for Daisy!....I'm sure she'll be alright......I do know some one who had a min pin that recently broke her back leg.....She attempted to jump up on the bed and came down and caught her foot in between the side rail and the box spring and snapped her leg ....She had to have a wire wrapped around a crack and had pins put in the break....She had to be confined to a crate for 6 weeks. The only time she was out was to potty and then back in the crate. They thought it was going to be a problem keeping her in there for that long but it was easy. Since she was sore she wanted to be in there laying down. The leg healed beautifully and she is back to running around as if nothing happened to it. I hope Daisy is feeling better soon too!
