| Bella has a Histiocytoma! I vet quoted me $900 to remove it! Does this sound right?? It sounds like a lot to me. I am debating if I should just wait and see if it goes away or have it removed. Any thoughts?? |

| Sounds like a lot for something that may clear on it's own... Histiocytoma Maybe money better spent on a 2nd opinion to be sure it's benign.

| That really is a lot $$$ for something that may go away on its own. Did they mention doing a needle biopsy to check it out instead of removal? I had one of these removed from my Schnauzers back several years ago, it was benign, but was in an area where I use clippers for grooming and I nicked it and made it bleed. I was surprised at the long 2" incission to remove something smaller than a pea. He had 2 more in years later that I just left alone, and they went away.
