swallowed a lego???? Rudy was chewing on a lego, and when I went to grab it out of his mouth, he swallowed it. He has thrown up twice since eating it this morning, but other than that has been acting pretty normal..................not sure what to do? should I bring him to the vet, or let nature take its course? |
Leggos are pretty big! I would contact a vet |
1 Attachment(s) Yeah I agree with Chachi, the vomiting isn't a good sign either. Was this a regular Lego, or one of the tiny pieces? If it was one of the tiny pieces, it might pass without in problems, but if was a normal or medium size piece, it would probably need surgery. For something like this, you should always consult a vet. Best of luck! |
Absolutely contact your vet! Vomiting is not a good sign. It can cause an obstruction. Your vet will want to take xrays to see where it is and if it will be able to pass on it's own. I would not let nature take it's course with this or you could end up with a life threatening emergency on a holiday weekend. |
I'm imagining how painful that might be if it made it so far as to come out the back end of your pup...I'd consult the vet. |
Please take him to the vet. I don't think he will pass a lego. |
OMG - no way is he gonna pass a full lego, even half a lego is risky... Please bring him to the Vet ASAP ...please update us... |
It was small enough for him not to have choked . However, the lego may have still caused an obstruction. especially now that he is vomiting. He needs to be seen by a vet. Hope things turn out to be ok. :( |
Vet ASAP. He needs to be seen right away. If that gets stuck somewhere I dont want to know what could happen. |
I would get to a vet asap. Please keep us posted. |
Checking for an update. |
PLEASE TAKE HIM TO THE VET! I wouldn't take any chances... Hope everything turns out okay for your little baby...:2hearts2: |
