| Heartguard Plus and throwing up Baxter has thrown up that last 2 times I gave him his Heartguard. He has only had 6 doses and this may have happened before and I didn't connect the dots until this time. The first heartworm med he tried was a pill and it gave him diarrhea but that was when he was very young. He is 10 months now. Should I try it again? What other options are out there? Thank goodness mosquito season is going away. He did not get any of the medicine in him for this dose. It all came back up. |

| It needs to be given 30 days after mosquito season is over and possibly 60 days after. Did you try Interceptor before?

| It was either Intercept or Sentinel. i can deal with the diarrhea over the vomiting. I just don't know what to do. This dog can chew the baseboard off the wall and it not hurt him but he has the hardest time with different foods and meds. Just messes up his stomach. |

| We use Interceptor. After I gave one dose several months ago, Daisy (the bigger of the two) threw up, but I think it was my fault because I gave it to her first thing in the morning and I don't think she had anything on her stomach. I would talk to the vet and ask what they recommend.
