| My Bella Won't eat :-( I just adopted a 3 year old yorkiePoo three days ago. She was originally with a great family then given to a family that had a large dog who fought with my little girl.. so that is how I got her! She hasn't eaten anything since she has been in my home... she seems to be in good spirits and doesn't seem sick.. but just wont eat. any ideas? |

| Are you feeding her the food that she had been on? She is probably just adjusting to her new surroundings and should be okay in a few days but if she isn't eating anything, I would give her canned food to see if that helps. Has she been vet checked yet?

What brand of food are you feeding her? Can you offer her some cottage cheese or plain low fat yogurt? | |

| Welcome to YT! Poor baby! She's a little scared right now. Try and keep her on the same food as before. Make sure she's drinking water and her gums stay pink. As far as not eating anything, maybe try a little chicken, cottage cheese or plain yogurt. If she hasn't had anything today, I'd call her vet just to be on the safe side. It might just be adjusting to her new surroundings, but 3 days is a little long to go with out food. Please keep us posted, and again, Welcome to YT

| Merrick Brand Dog Food has a WONDERFUL line of Wet food - very appealing.... Merrick Pet Foods : merrickpetcare.com Wingling is nice - it actually has a whole cooked chicken wing in it. Be sure the smash up the bone though, really good. Merrick also makes a dry - Grandma's Pot Pie (sounds yummy) Eukanuba is not a brand I really like. It contains By-Products (nasty) and Corn (which can cause allergies in dogs). The fact that they call it for Yorkies is just a Marketing Ploy... Other brands: Wellness, Canidae, Nature's Variety, Natural Balance, Chicken Soup fo Dogs, California Natural, Solid Gold |

| Another trick is to add a little Low Sodium Chicken Broth to the dry, that may entice her to eat |
