| Help!! No poop in two days!!! Hi all, so we just got Izzy from Sherry (yorkiegirl2) on friday and she has been eating wet food due to the transition she wouldn't eat the dry kibbles. So she's been on the wet food. She pooped on sat and sunday fine, yesterday (monday) she started eating more of the wet ( 1 whole package) and today they put the dry down and she ate half of her bowl plus her whole pack of wet food. She is on pedigree packets of wet and purina healthy morsels for dry... Sherry suggested those for now since that's what she is used to... We cleaned her bum and it looked "flowable", and gave her some canned pumpkin about an hour ago... Rob (my bf) has had her this whole time and I'm 5 hours away. He's really worried about her, any suggestions on what to do? I told him to try to get her to eat more of hte pumpkin...she was kind of refusing it!!! Please help!!!

| Give the pumpkin some time to work. It will take more than an hour or two. You may be getting up in the middle of the night. If she hasn't gone tomorrow I would give her some more pumpkin. That almost never fails. Remember that going to a new home is stressful on any dog and can affect things. I had a larger dog that didn't poop for 4 days. Pumpkin did the trick for him. If that fails, I would probably call the vet just to be sure of things. Last edited by omega; 05-20-2008 at 07:25 PM. |

| thanks... i'll let him know that. he's going to let her sleep, she's tired now. If she doesn't go by noon he'll call the vet, he has to work all day, but his dad will be home with her to keep an eye on her. Thanks, i'll keep this updated as i find out more!!!

| ok i'll tell him to warm some up this morning if still nothing... i don't think there's too much of a chance there's presents.. she's either watched over or in the kitchen locked in it.. they don't want her to get around too much, they have 2 bigger dogs and 3 cats. she's safe in the kitchen.. they have baby gates up on both sides.
