| Post-Operative LP Care? Hello, I read the responses to my previous post (thank you all!) and have more questions. The literature from the orthopedic surgeon says to expect 3-4 weeks of confinement (re: imbrication). How on earth do I keep Demi from jumping for that long? I've never had a dog operated on before -- what else can I expect, post-operatively? Thanks! |

| Conner was supposed to have LP surgery in February, but it had to be postponed because of liver issues. I have a stroller I was going to put him in so that he could be pushed from room to room (and sleep in there beside the bed). I also have a cage with blankets. I bought pedialyte and nutrical. I was going to take a week of vacation time. I was all prepared (I think). He is now on liver support pills, so his surgery is delayed for at least 2 months. Good luck with the surgery.
