| When Madison was about 4 months old I was carrying her down the stairs in her bed (I do NOT do this anymore) and when I got to the last 4 steps she tried to jump out - her leg got caught and she ended up just falling. The thud was SO loud that my parents came running thinking it was me who had fallen (this was when i still lived with my parents and thankfully their stairs are carpeted--phew). For about 10 seconds she didnt move AT ALL. When she got up she was just dragging one of her back legs and it looked like she was struggling to keep her eyes open. After a few minutes she was running around again like nothing had happened though!! Regardless, we took her to the vet who said that it is normal for them to to go into a sort of shock and not move for about 10 seconds or so. I know yours and Princess' fall was more extreme than Madison's, but just wanted to let you know that Madison was COMPLETELY OK after her fall and has been 1 year later!!!

| Princess is great now, I posted this in July. She ended up being ok, but I dont know if this was a coincidence or not....maybe one week later she started coughing and she ended up getting real, real sick. She had pneumonia. She was in an incubator in a special hospital 2 hrs away for 2-1/2 weeks. She got down to a little under a pound. I would never wish what happend to us on my worst enemy. It was awful and costed us over $9,000. I am just happy that she is ok now. But the doctors had to use this very strong medication shot thing on her and said it might stunt her growth. Well, it defintely did. She never grew since and still weighs 2.7 pounds and is almost a year. But, she thinks she weighs 50 pounds with the way she acts (hahaha). Again, thank you for all your concerns. Everyone here was my support through that horrific time. I wish nothing but the best for everyone on here |

| well are YOU OK?! If your vet seems to find nothing really wrong, they're probably right. These little guys, as little as they are, are actually quite tough and can handle falls majority of the time. When Bounce was a pup, he was wiggling inmy arms one night and before I could catch him he fell on our tile floor! And I was standing up! He screamed so loud I swear he had broken something, but a few minutes later he was fine.
