please pray for my baby, korey. we had to put him in the hospital for christmas. he had diarrhea most of the weekend and started throwing up this morning. he had hemmorhagic gastroenteritis. they're keeping him for the night and are hopeful that the iv drip tonight should have him good as new tomorrow! i miss my puppy!

I am so very sorry that your precious little Korey will be spending Christmas in the Hospital. It really hurts to have one sick with diahrrhea and so scary too. My little 3.5 lb. Peppy had a bout earlier this year which started as loose stool and went to bright red blood dripping from his rectum within a matter of two hours. Fortunately for me our regular vet practice as a doctor on call 24/7 so he would up at our regular practice and spent 4 days receiving intermittent iv fluids. The day I was to bring him home he started vomiting so he spent another day. It was terribly lonely......

Praying for your baby. The vet stay should fix him up. I have had several bouts of that with a couple of my dogs and after an overnight stay with Iv's they are so much better. So sorry you have to spend Christmas without him.

It is just amazing how quickly these little ones can get really sick and dehydrate from diarrhea, isn't it?

The IV fluids should help him a lot, though.

korey is doing great! he got to come home christmas day, late in the afternoon, but we waited for him to open our presents. he was a little out of his ordinary the next day, but since then, he's been 100% korey! thanks for all of your prayers and well-wishes!

I am just now seeing this thread, so while mine wasn't one of the prayers for healing, I will give my prayers of thanks that Korey is home safe, sound, and healthy now. What a great Christmas gift.
