Thank you the love and care you show your little one, also for the update. Food alone does influence bowel movement color. My late little one sometimes pooped in multiple colors. Not so much a mixed color as sections that were different colors. I attributed the color combination to times when I had fed her too many treats, different kinds of food or to canned food with distinct veggies. You mentioned your yorkies breath improved with the change in food. Good breath is always nice! I'm glad the vet felt there was nothing to be concerned with at this point. Keep on lovin' your sweetie.

Yorkie Talker | Okay so I put Xena back on her old food just for my peace of mind. She is enjoying it, her poop is all normal again. I do monitor her poops daily now. She has been burping up food not large amounts and her tummy was making the stragest noises last week. She is back to normal and a very happy pooch and loves playing with her toys and a happy tail wagger..Love her so very much and I think I am way over porotective of her..lol |

You wrote, "I do monitor her poops daily." I know some folks see this as a chore--but I quickly came to see it as part of good parenting. They are so small, don't like to complain, and their well-being can change quickly. Thank you for being such a good pet parent. I wouldn't worry about feeling overprotective. These little ones are deserving of our overprotective instincts. Bless you. -- KatysMom

| I check my guys poop for color, shape and consistency every day, if something changes I take a sample and off to the vet we go. I do not feed my guy anything other then his food and treats, so if his poop is off something is not right.
