I wouldn't care either way if Adrianna's tail was docked or not. I do like how it looks with her little stub of a tail. However, if given a choice, it wouldn't matter to me. |
same here! |
Nothing i like more than seeing a full wagging tail when i get home :) |
I know this is an older post but I searched out this topic. Darla's tail isnt docked and I LOVE it that way. I enjoy stroking her tail. I was pleased to find that our new little guy that will be coming home soon dosent have a docked tail either. The breeder and I discussed it and she dosent agree with it either. I love the look both ways but I really love a tail!! Just had to add my two cents lol... Dawn |
My Girl's tail was not docked...My Boy's tail is. I love the long tail but I don't love my Boy any less because his was docked. They are cute either way. However, I personally don't like docking tails or any type of surgery to give a breed a certain look they are "suppose" to have. I think they should be left the way nature intended them to be. I feel this way about any breed. This is my opinion. I'm not trying to cause an uproar. |
I like the docked tails. |
But...... Having a docked tail is in the AKC Standards for the Breed which was adopted April 12, 1966. Not docking the tail is like breeding a bitch that weighs 3 pounds over the Standard. Teri:animal-pa |
in the uk you can now show a dog with a undocked tail so the breed standard is changing with the times. |
I like the look of a docked tail. Every yorkie I've owned has had a docked tail. |
When Mollie had her puppies, I went back and forth whether or not to dock their tails and at the last minute I decided to. I don't know whether I would do it again or not. A good friend of mine has a yorkie and her tail isn't docked and she is adorable. I don't know. Since Mollie won't be having anymore babies I won't have this decisions to make again. |
