Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Addicted to treats? Eddie is addicted to a treat called Yummy Chummies. It's an Alaska-made treat that has salmon in it, and he will whine for hours if he wants one and I'm not giving in. The problem, I'm sure, is obedience school, where they have encouraged treats to reward good behavior. But I think he's starting to crave them. He'll come up to me at home and bark and yelp. He doesn't want to go outside, he doesn't want to play with a toy, and he doesn't shut up until I give in and make him do a trick for a treat. I figured I'd turn this into a poll to see if I'm the only one dealing with this. Here are the ingredients in case anyone sees something bad in there that I should be avoiding. Web site is www.yummychummies.com. Ingredients: Wild Alaska salmon, wheat flour, vegetable glycerin, propionic acid, natural smoke flavor, citric acid, garlic, calcium carbonate, natural mixed tocopherols, rosemary extract.

| I actually sometimes wish he were treat addicted but I have yet to find anything that is food related that really motivates him. Teddy is Love motivated...He would take a hug, belly rub or a yes, good boy over any treat any day.

| Schatzie isn't addicted to treats, she's addicted to ALL FOODS. I think she'd eat air if she could. Ugh!

| Laila isn't that into 'treats' per say - but things like bones, raw-hides, greenies, and #1 of all..... dried chicken breasts (w/out bones)! Laila will do anything for that chicken breast!!!!
