| I would love to home cook for Cody, but I'm not sure where to start, what to buy, or anything like that. I will probably start once his sister arrives, but in the mean time he is on Taste of the Wild. I've also thought about Prey Model Raw, hummmm. . . . |

Natural Dog Food | The Honest Kitchen i think its a really nice dog food. it even smells good. you can eat it too (the 'preference' only) because it is human grade and every batch is tested by human tasting it.

| I used to feed raw NV medallions and had to switch, as I could not get them without driving 2+ hours :P Now I feed Natural balance limited ingredient diet venison and sweet potato, love it!

| Both the dogs are on Wellness Super 5 mix for small breed and are doing very well on just plain kibble.

| I think you can consider those extras as raw food. Raw food is fresh food. I feed pre-made raw and they also get fresh apples, oranges, tomatoes, etc. Our food is grown in the country and blended about 20 minutes from our home. We pick up a frozen batch about once a month and I save $$$$$$$. Plus my yorkies love this food more than anything I tried before.

| I free feed mine dry Canidae ALS. I also bake treats for them cuz I don't like preservatives. I also feed my girls a special diet when pregnant and nursing. They get boiled chicken breast, rice, liver, cottage cheese, yogurt, Natural Balance rolls, vegetables, and Canned Canidae. They get certain foods while pregnant and all listed when nursing. I also free feed the kibble while giving them the diet. They are spoiled and pampered at all times! I am always on the lookout for new foods they might like.

| WE are about 80% premade raw.. but there are days my lil one will not touch it. So i try to add variety and give a little holistic kibble. For me it would be 100% raw, but I dont make the rules |

![]() Totally MY fault because it never occurred to me that I needed to rotate proteins! They have a great product and it is so easy to use and so easy to travel with! I do have some preference and will use that sometimes when the little one doesnt want raw. The ingredients are awesome. and t is so easy to measure especially if you have a dog where you have to measure every calorie due to weight issues
