Lilly needs a new name! Hello friends, after joining this wonderful community to learn everything I could about yorkies before I bring my baby home, she is finally coming home on the 23rd! The breeder has called her Lilly ( a very common yorkie puppy name from breeders, at least mine lol!), but I'm just not feeling this name (also, my daughter's name is Liberty, and they sound too much the same, I don't want any confusion for either of them!). So I'm putting up this poll to see what you guys think about the few name changes that I am proposing. Please reply and let me know what you think!;) Brief descriptions of choices: Sasha - my favorite Tinkerbell = my son's choice Bella = my other first choice, but there are so many of them! Boo (booboo) - my hubby's choice, from Monsters, Inc. |
I like Sasha too. When I couple it with Liberty's name it sounded cute. Liberty and Sasha. If you are the one who gets to take care of her, feed her, take her to the vet, etc. I think you should get to pick the name, but I understand listening to the family. Your husband's pick is also very cute. |
My youngest son's nickname is Boo and he's 8. Not from Monster's Inc although many children my son's age have that nickname from the movie. But from playing peek-a-boo. I think it's cute. I choose Bella on your poll though, love that name for a girl. |
I chose Sasha. It's a really pretty name, and I like the shortened "Sash". Tinkerbell is also cute, but kind of long. We tend to shorten our yorkies' names a lot, so you'd probably be calling her 'Tink'. |
Love Sasha.... but all of the names are cute and would be great for her. Can hardly wait for the pics. |
Sasha is my babygirls name. I've always thought it was adorable. |
OK guys, Sasha she shall be! I get to bring her home on the 23rd finally! I hope it's not too hard for her to deal with a name change! Thanks to all who voted! |
