What's your yorkie's favorite toy? Hi All, I was just wondering what your yorkie's favorite toy was. My Zoe is really picky and will only play with certain plush toys. I have one hamburger plush toy that she is crazy about. The only rubber toy she likes is the Kong because it usually has a treat inside. And, if the treat is gone, she's done with the Kong. Finnigan is in love with bone shaped toys! We have sooo many and he picks a different one everyday that he treats like his baby. He'll carry it around everywhere, lick it, and try to hide it from Gwenndylin. Gwenni on the other hand loves toys period, any toy that you grab she has to have, but squeaky toys are her favorite... she'll come running from outta nowhere if you step on one and squeak it accidentally. |
Bogie's fav is any kind of bouncy ball and Jada loves her loofah dog,she carries that thing with her everywhere. |
Why oh why does a yorkie like a bone shaped toy? It cracks me up. I have one that does that too. Recently I thought she wouldn't care for a nylabone b/c she's ignored other nyla toys. Forgetting it was a BONE, she went bonkers over it. We play fight w/ her favorite toy=the stuffed bone. It's a nothing silly squeaker toy that compliments the coat. Wish I knew where it came from. :confused::confused::confused::confused: It's so worn out. It opens w/ velcro to replace the squeaker. Nice to wash it. But the fur is about worn out. Anyone know the toy? It's off white w/ brown & black. If we don't find one, we'll be it in the ring w/ holes and/or patches on it. How do they know the difference between a shape? Most don't know. Some are so smart, too smart. We love this, they love to play. So beautiful. |

Krissie Bella LOVES the Donkey that she got in the Christmas Yorkie exchange. It makes a donkey sound. She carries it around and the only think that you can her is "hee haw, hee haw!!" :p |

1 Attachment(s) Jimi gets obsessed over certain toys. His favorite toy is a squeeky plush hedgehog that we nicknamed "Hedgy." It is his favorite. If we ever hide it, he will cry and whine, searching all over the house for it helplessly. Whenever we yell, "Go get Hedgy!" Jimi will come running with the toy in his mouth ready to play fetch. :p He would play fetch with his daddy all day if we let him. He sleeps with Hedgy too. It is a true love affair. The only problem is that Hedgy STINKS! (horribly) And he has played with it so much that the poor guy is practically bald because he ripped all of the hair out! lol. We bought the same exact one but he didn't care for it because it was brand new and didn't have the "stink." ..And to think I spend all of this money on new toys when he continues to go back to this stinky $3.00 Walmart toy. :rolleyes: I attached a pic of Jimi & his daddy playing with Hedgy. ETA: Lol, just noticed Marshall is in it. Poor baby, his brother is a crazy man. :p Marshall will play with any toy he can get his paws on. |
Actually their favorite toys are anything they aren't supposed to have, lol. Hot Rod's first toy was a little plush turtle with a squeaker and he has loved it ever since. I have about 4 of them because he's pulled the square patch off at least 2 of them! He can find that sucker where ever it is, in the toy basket, buried in sofa or under a bunch of stuff. lol Maggie likes a big sofy bear that I got her last valentines day--it's bigger than she is but she still manages to toss it around. :) |
Jasmine's fav is the first toy we bought her....the plush squirrel. One day she kept trying to go into the other side of the house and I kept getting on to her telling her to stay with us. Over and over she kept disobeying, whining and trying to sneak into the other side of the house. I finally gave up and walked into where she kept trying to go and almost stepped onto of her precious little squirrel. LOL She knew it was in there. Prissy has always loved her giraffe and takes it into all the rooms with her. Neither one will let the other play with their precious toy even though they have many other toys to play with, they are only selfish with those precious two. |
Razzz has a couple of fav's... his beaver which has no stuffing in it. just two squeakees. He demolishes this toy in about 2 months Then he loves get this.. the big dogs rope. It is as long as him and probably weighs half of him .... but he will carry that thing .... shake his head ... growl at it. and go fetch it... He hasn't demolished it yet.. lol He loves his Wubba Wubba - cloth covered one. But he demolishes the head in about a week. He and our other dogs only get those now twice a year. :-) |
What a great poll! Eddie is a connoisseur of fine toys, and plush is his No. 1 requirement. Squeakies are a close No. 2, and the two together are an irresistible force. I will say that lately his favorite toy is a fleece rope we got from Amber more than a year ago. But that's got the same texture as plush. |
Lilly and Brooklyn love Mr. Monkey. I had to buy two of them. The one without the stuffing is Lillianna's and she knows it. She carries it all over the house and will even take it to bed with her. It's so adorable, she puts it under her head or paw and sleeps with it at night, just like a child would sleep with a stuffy. Brooklyn is always trying to steal it and Lilly runs like hell to keep her from taking it away. LOL. Elaine |

Winston loves his "new ball", which isn't looking so new any more. But his all time favorite toy is has Daddy, seriously...I believe he thinks his Daddy is a toy...a big toy, but still a toy. LOL!!! |
Actually, Zoey's favorite toy is one of two that she swiped from her feline fursister :eek: They are crocheted mice and so cute!! Soft grey bodies and one with pink ears and a long pink crocheted tail and the other with lavender ears and tail. Very cute!! Would love to find them without the catnip in them as I can tell they wont last forever. Shame I have little time or creativeness to make them myself :rolleyes: |
Rattles My dogs love any toy that has the rattle in it. Sometimes I can find some with squeaker with it too! They love the sound of the rattle when they shake there heads with it! Super cute!:D |
My Jasper loves his purple puppy my daughter gave to him (from her own stuffed animal collection), the little stuffed puppy is as big as he is or bigger, but he loves her! My kids say it's his girlfriend, lol. He also loves any sock we leave laying around, and my fingers! |
Roxie loves her pink Kong Wubba and her stuffed Blue (from Blue's Clues) the most. She also seems to like toys that are almost as big as she is. She loves the cow my mom gave her for Christmas and the bone pillow that came with her bed. She looks so funny dragging them around because they are so big! |

Bree loves anything with a squeaker. She actually takes it out and play with it and ignores the toy completely lol. I can save myself some money by just buying the squeakers |
Duke loves his stuffed hamburger from Santa. However, he will go absolutely crazy if you give him a plastic water/pop bottle (empty of course) He even loves the 2 liter size. He jumps up and down and barks like mad until you give it to him. He loves to flatten the small ones then we take them away. |
Mine LOVE squeeker toys, Teddy especially. He will squeek his toys all night if i let him lol The girls seem to love little cat toys..they love this toy with a rattle in it that looks like a mouse-since their mouths are so tiny. London on the other hand loves any toy she can get on top of and have her way with :rolleyes: naughty naughty London. :p |

Mia LOVES all toys that squeak especially those with mulitple squeakers right now she has a toy that is a "dog" with the head at the top the body is a rope and the end is the feet she LOVES this toy! and it has a squeaker at each end so that is a + Lily doesn't play too much with toys although I have caught her and Mia playing tug a war a time or two!... :rolleyes: |
Ariel has TONS of toys but she'll only play with her hide-a-squirrel and her duck plush toy consistently :p |
