Every dog we've ever had slept through the night. My parents were not "get up in the middle of the night for the dog" kind of people and I'm not either. Very rarely that they do get up for something and whine/bark, I tell them to go back to bed and they do. They will hold it until I get up. Maybe a little tough love for the people's yorkies that won't hold it all night...? |
Im gonna say yes for now,Mina slept through last night,it was her second night with us. I put her in her bed,by my pillow. She settled in and just slept all night. Made a "B" line for the backdoor this morning with her , she is almost 4months old. So I'm speaking in faith that she will continue. |
I am amazed that he is doing so well at almost 11wks but yes he does :). The first night I made sure to check on him every few hours and let him down off the bed  to pee but he didn't actually have to but once. The following night I set my egg timer but decided I wouldn't wake him unless he woke me or was awake. He made it from 11pm-7am that second night and has every night since :D. Other dogs I have had in the past have been crate trained and I made sure to get up at least 2 times during the night to take them outside until they were about 3 to 4 months old. I figured with a small breed I would be doing the night thing for several months. |
Lilly :) she goes to sleep at about 10 and sleeps till 3am thats when i take her out. then sleeps again till 7. but shes just about 9 weeks so i hope it's just a puppy thing. :aimeeyork :) |
He sleeps most of the night..barks at 11 than around 1am and plays at 5am. Gotta love em! |
Teddie sleeps with us, since he was around 4 mos old, he slept through the night from day one of starting that and hasn't caused any issues. I feel blessed, I love my sleep...need it or else I am rather cranky. LOL |
Yes, all 4 sleep with me with little disruption until we get up around 6:00a.m. |
Jackson slept until noon with me today! Hahaha. Needless to say, he sleeps thru the night with me. |
Sophie has slept through the night since VERY young. She's been in my bed since the second night I had her. She will sleep until I wake up...whether it's 5 a.m. or 9 a.m. She sleeps right by my chest/face, and I usually have my arm around her all night long. She also has to be right there whenever I take a nap. The whole time. I LOVE MY LITTLE SNUGGLE BUG!!! |
Louie sleeps threw the night whether I get up at 8:00am or till noon. He wakes up when I wake up. |
Yep, all 3 of my dogs do and Alice has since the first day I got her at 5 months old, in her crate on the floor next to my bed. Either her or my Akita will wake me around 8:00 if i'm not already up:) |
I need my sleep. Pao needs his pee break middle of the night. Put him in bellyband. I can't afford to have bad quality sleep. |
Hope this helps I got my little girl Morgan in Sept. 2011, she is now 2 1/2 years old. Her birthday is July 16, 2011. I remember the very first night like it was yesterday!!! I only five hours of sleep that night! I would play with her hardcore at night!! And by the time it was bedtime she was ready!! I did not crate her I let her sleep in my room with me, she would sleep in her bed. If she wined during the night I stuck my hand down so she would know I was there, I even allowed her to sleep in my bed a few nights so she felt safe. I also put a pee pad in my room so she would go on that at night. I also put one down in a certain place during the day when I wasn't home and she would go on it. Now she is 2 1/2 years old and sleeps all night! She is even potty trained! I still play with her at night because she loves to but once its bedtime she is out! I suggest putting your little one in your with you either in a crate or get them a bed and put it right by your bed, that way they know where you are and if you stick your hand down they know you are there! Hope this helps and good luck!! Rasing a puppy is hard work but it pays off in the end :aimeeyork:animal-pa |
