Where do you get your yorkies haircut?
 
I wanted to see what is the most popular place is to get a haircut(for your dog):)

Izzy goes to our breeder who also shows Yorkies. He has a great grooming set up attached to his home. Izzy has never been cut short has always been long. He's amazing and well worth the $$ I spend. I take her 1x a month and then I do the in between stuff.:D

Is it the breeder that you got her from?

With 5 girls, i do it myself with only the scissors. They all have very short puppy cuts which makes it easy to care for. Helps with the pocketbook too! :D

My girls have their spa day at the Groomer. It is a private groomer, not a chain store place. Bath, hair cut, nails trimmed, the works.

we have 2 mobile groomers in town. I use 1 of these. they have a trailer that they do everything in and just park it infront of your house. she is done in about 1 hour.

I groom my own babies. I live on Long Island & have been a groomer for 20 years & show my yorkies, so they are done often. Their used to it & I get to give them different hair styles that I like.

Sam is groomed at Dorothys Poodle Salon in Sherman. We love Rusty!

Baron's first haircut...
 
I groomed Baron 2 weeks ago and he has been shivering ever since. He was 7 1/2 months old and had this really long Black and Tan Hair. He kept panting,I groomed him down and found a Blue and tan dog under all that hair. Everyone thinks I got another dog. I don't think I used the right attachments!! Hopefully he'll be grown out by winter. I bought him a few cute coats just in case he's not... :confused:JODI

We have been going to the same groomer since we got Tucker. Our breeder uses the same lady. She does it out of her house and she is awesome. Tucker's haircut looks exactly the same every time. She has never given him a bad hair cut or even had an accident where she nipped his ear or anything!

I used to go to the groomers but with 6 dogs it is a little much Plus I like my males long and Diva in long coats.
