Breadmakers Who in YT has a breadmaker? If you have one, do you use it? How often? Please share your bread making stories. I had one many years ago, some how in one of our moves it was lost or donated. I am looking to buy another and since 99% of the time it is just hubby and me I wanted a small one. I have read reviews and decided on the Zojirushi BB-HAC10 Mini Home Bakery. This machine makes one lb. loaves. Can't wait to get my hands on it so I can start baking. |
I have had 2 breadmachines. My first was a Zojirushi and I loved it. It made 1 and 1 1/2lb loaves, never failed. I used it once a week for years and then it gave up. A friend gave me a machine and I NEVER not once made a nice loaf,it went bye, bye. |
I have one....had to put it away.....eating hot homemade bread everyday for a couple of months was NOT good for my waist line! Was looking at it just this weekend......visions of hot slices, melting butter.....smells to die for!!!!!...... |

lol... my dd just asked for one for her b day |
Mine is in the garage waiting to be donated. Since it isn't healthy to eat bread every day, it just isn't worth making it. I only eat Ezekiel bread now, and only about one or two slices a week tops. |
I would be afraid to own one since I have no willpower. but I had to comment because I have a dentist that has one in the office. Everyday the office manager bakes a loaf and picks a patient at random to give the loaf to. I was the lucky recipient one time of a sourdough loaf which I ate in two days . Every time I go for an appointment the office smells of fresh baked bread. I would venture to say he might have the only dental practice that rewards a patient with a loaf of fresh office baked bread:p |

I thinking of one too. How much counter space will you need for it? And does anyone know if the gluten free bread can be make in it? At 7.99 a loaf for a good gluten free bread - I have about one piece a week Keep it in the freezer a defrost one piece at a time... |
