| Fun thread! On the protein front, I've tried a lot of different things...Jack just ate goat for the first time... it was ok. I really, really love ostrich - its just like beef tenderloin but much leaner For ethnic foods, one of the more inventive things I've made are Indian pooris. Interesting ... they are a bread and ... they kind of "blow up" like a big doughnut when you cook them I really enjoy Thai - anything with coconut milk, lemon grass and thai curry. I make a shrimp curry and I add baby bok choy to it. YUMMY! Also love to cut up a whole chicken, marinade in lemon, sea salt, onion, garlic, ginger, chili past, paprika, tumeric, yogurt and coriander seeds. Its like a tandori chicken. Serve it with a cucumber salad - very refreshing. The only issue with cooking with tumeric is that it RUINS your clothes if you spill (which I do regularly in the kitchen). I need to wear old dark clothes whenever the tumeric is out LOL On a more "traditional" ethnic front, I make my own pesto. Love that with shrimp, chicken, pasta... | LOL, THANK YOU for saying it is fake chinese! Real chinese restaurants are loud and noisy, waiters are rude, the floors are sticky, and they give you the check as soon as the last dish arrives! I'd have it no other way!

| Who added the "yummy" tag? LOL!!! Oh yeah, today was lamb shank day. They made it SOOO good today! And the veggie dish, the Navrathan Korma, nice and heavy on the spices today too! Sucked out the bone marrow too . the meat came off so easily, and usually the cartilige around the knee joint isn't totally soften, well today it was, and I was moving the joint around, like bending the knee, and I said to bf, Look luxating patella! LOL I crack myself up.

| I'm so glad you enjoyed it! It's so easy, and a bit healthier than your normal pizza... Over the weekend I'm going to do it with a base of olive oil, Canadian bacon and pineapple. Tomato sauce is just not my thing...
