Breeders in WA state? Hi everyone... Sigh...yes, we are starting our search for our new baby already. I'm having a hard time finding breeders on the web that are located in WA state. Anyone out there? Thanks, deb |
I know of several, send me a pm as to where you are and I can try to help. What is your price range? |
looking for puppy in WA Hi, I'm also looking for a puppy within my state if it can be helped. I live in Pierce County. Thanks:animal-pa |

Repunzel, I'm on hold for a puppy till my hubby figures out how to finance one! But I did go to the All Breed Dog show in Puyallup, WA today... it was so fun! There were only 6 yorkies there, but I got a card for a lady in Marysville, if you are interested.. PM me... I can give you her number. Very nice older lady that has been owning, breeding and showing for many years. deb |

I just put a deposit down on a puppy in Port Angeles. There are two breeders there that I know of. The one I am working with might still have two males left b. 6/10/06. PM me if you would like more info. |
Thanks! I already got my puppy though! Where did you go? I went to Herron's Yorkies in Montesano. My baby is 10 weeks old and about 2 lbs. She's a darling! Go to Joeysmom's photo album and look up Phoebe girl's album. She's a sweetie! I know there were two other breeders in that general area. I'd love to know who you dealt with, how it works out and what your baby looks like, size etc. I know I will want another one, and probably a little boy next time. I just wasn't ready to "replace" Joey, so I opted for a girl. Good luck! deb |
1 Attachment(s) I have been working with Shades of Iris Kennel in Port Angeles. This gal's mother also breeds Yorkies on the peninsula (She plans on another litter in late fall). They are only 3 weeks old now, 2 boys and two girls. I have one of the girls, the other girl is spoken for. Iris is the mom, she weighs 5 lbs. The Sire weighs 4 lbs. I attached a pic of one of the pups. They all look alike right now. I believe my baby will be named Miss Grace, aka Gracie. |
A bit far maybe? I can recommend my breeder if anyone is interested. He has quite a few litters I think and possibly ready to go . . best way is to call them of course to find out . . .But if anyone has seen my baby Annika, that is where I got her. He breeds championship bloodline yorkies . . . PM me if interested! Oh, he lives in Colville, WA . . out in the boonies . . .and you would not believe interested buyers such as myself  would go to such a remote location just to get his puppy . . . |
New to Forum Hi everyone, I am new to the forum. Things at our house are pretty sad. Our Yorkie unexpectedly passed away on Monday. I must admit I am having a really hard time with this. It was so unexpected. Phoebe went everywhere with me. I know that I need to get through the grieveing stage if possible, and then I really want to replace her. I would really appreciate any help from those of you that have just purchased new puppies. I have not had to deal with breeders before, Phoebe was given to me by the people that I puppy sat for. They were just way to busy with 3 boys & they said that she would sulk for days after I would bring her back. Phoebe weighed 3lbs 9ozs and that was after she had eaten and had a full tummy. Thank you for any help you can give me. |
Hi Dizpatch. Welcome! I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I am in the process of purchasing my first Yorkie and am getting her from a breeder. What kinds of questions do you have? This is a really supportive group. Getting a new baby will be most helpful in helping you get through your loss. There will never be another Phoebe, but there is another baby out there who needs your love! |

Thank you Thank you for your thoughts & prayers with Phoebe's passing. I hope this is OK for me to post here. Iam trying to educate myself right now, with learning a little bit about breeders. If that makes any sense. I would like to find a breeder in WA, that way I could easily drive & see them. I am not looking to breed or show, I do want another small yorkie. I also think it is really helpful to talk to people, anyone can make a beautiful ad, but it is the references that really count! Thank you for your help and support. |

Welcome Carolyn! I hope you like it here. I am finding this place so helpful. I have two yorkies, a 6-7 yr old rescue named Rocco and a little 6 month old terror named Bella Grace. I am in Tacoma. I never seem to make it to any meetups (my life is so crazy, especially on Saturday's) but would love to get together with other Puy-Tac-GH area yorkie owners someday. I loved your page, who is your groomer? |
I am looking for a female for my Charlie. I would love for him to have puppies and he really would like a real dog instead of a pillow. If anyone has any information on how I get started or how it works I would really appreciate it. |

That would be great. Would you mind filling me in on some information or where I can research breeding? like what is a good age for males and females to start breeding or the end when they shouldn't any more? What the process is like? What they have to do before to get ready? How the profits from sold puppies would be split? What my involvement would be during the female's pregnancy? I am totally clueless but would really love for charlie to have puppies. Any information would help. Thank you. |
Looking for a puppy to join us around Dec 1 My husband and I are searching for the right Yorkie puppie to join our family. Ideally, we would like to bring him/her home around the beginning of December, since that is a slow time for me at work and I would be able to spend a lot of time at home with the puppy for the first few weeks. If you know of a breeder who will have puppies available around that time, please let me know! |
Litter due in October? This is the breeder that I got Gracie from. She mentioned to me that they are expecting again in October, so the timing for December should be right. You might want to make contact and get on her list. She is a bit immature as far as doing business goes (on the young side), but she breeds great, healthy dogs and takes very good care of them. Her mother has been breeding Yorkies for years. http://www.geocities.com/shades_of_iris/PastPups.html You might have better responsiveness calling rather than contacting via email. She has small children and gets tied up with them. |
Hi, We have a litter due Sept 1 if all goes well. We are located near Gig Harbor, WA. Puppies will be ready in mid November but we are already putting together a "call" list for those who want to make a deposit when the babies are born. check our website at yorkshireterriersofcalaryn.com or email me with questions. |
Looking for Puppy or Adult Hello, I am looking for a Yorkie! I just want a healthy little bundle of joy! We had found one in the middle of the road, and of course I fell in love with this breed and then we found the owner after he had been with us for days and if anyone knows of a breeder or needs to find a home for one I just might be that person! I do work at a pet food shop and would love to have a couch buddy! Thanks Jenn |
Hi, we have puppies expected on Valentines Day (give or take a day or two) They will be ready for their forever homes in May. Watch our website for announcements, pictues as they grow, etc. If you would like to be placed on our waiting list, write and let us know about yourself and the home you will provide for your new little fur baby.
