| ![]() Yes my Pit had them when we got him, he was incredibly ill with bloody stools, vomiting and anemia, transfusion, a round of meds and he had to be treated for a couple months with a cocktail, sorry I don't remember specifics but its not a one time thing. Also, the eggs look like footballs under the scope (vet showed me) and are not easy to get rid of. I believe it is from unsanitary conditions.....my Pit was thrown out of a car on the thruway, down the hill and in to my yard...of course.

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | ![]() Thanks Guys. Hopefully it is not. Just the puppy has had infrequent diarrehea so we are checking stool samples. Apparently they can be hard to catch in the stool sample, so we are doing repetitive checks. But with this breed I have problems with kibble this will be my third Blackie, that their system doesn't like kibble. Once she goes to home fed, she should be good to go. And it usually starts about 7-8 mths old - go figure. She is on Revolution -

| ![]() Revolution does not prevent against whipworm. If the vet suspects it might be whipworm why doesn't he just treat her with a dewormer?

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | ![]() I am not sure. Maybe because she doesn't have whipworm? Also the diarrehea has been very in-frequent, no blood, or mucus in the stool.
