24-hour-rule change proposal for tomorrow, Wednesday, May 20

What do you say we have one day of "Reinstate the Person Above You." We've been banning for eons, I say we have one day where we reinstate the person above us and give a KIND reason for doing so.

An alternative: If the person above you bans someone, you have to reinstate the person they banned. But if the person above you reinstated someone, you have to ban the person above you. That may be too complicated for the riff-raff around here to grasp.

Then, come Thursday, the war is back on. Any takers? This is not a kingly edict, just a suggestion. I'll do a poll if there's no agreement.

Shocking, especially coming from you. But I second that idea. I think we might actually find that we like each other. Come Thursday, we will deny that fact. :rolleyes:

I must say this. I had the very same idea Mike, sorta... I of all places was in the shower :rolleyes: when I thought, we ought to have a day of reprieve one day and be nice to each other. I didn't figure it would fly so I didn't bother saying anything.

Maybe reinstating each other all day will be lame, so let's go with the alternate plan to mix things up:

* If the person above you reinstates someone, you ban them with a rude ban.

* If the person above you bans someone, you reinstate the person they banned with a nice comment.

Example:
AK Yorkie: I reinstate Sherri because I feel guilty about all the rude bans I've given her.
Sherri: I ban Mike for being a wuss and reinstating me.
Jamie: I reinstate Mike because Sherri is a crabass and he didn't deserve to be banned
Sherri: I ban Jamie for being a wuss and reinstating Mike.
Mike: I reinstate Jamie because she was nice to save me earlier.

Sheesh, I AM starting to hear voices in my head. If this doesn't make sense, somebody come up with an alternate plan.

I ban Mike for pretending those voices in his head are something new. I also ban you for coming up with this whole lame idea so you can try to get back into our good graces. What's the matter you couldn't take the heat so tried to put out the fire.;)

Besides, your ban was so lame you should have just skipped it.

I personally see no problems. It was simple I banned you, you had to be nice to me. I could have played along this way quite contently until someone else decided to join. You just couldn't handle the fact that you had to be nice to me, proving what an ogre you are.;)

I ban Sherri for STILL being unable to grasp the simple rules. You're supposed to reinstate the person I banned -- which is you! If this were an IQ test, you'd be in negative figures.
