I have 3 major obsessions in life. horses, yorkies, and donny osmond. i've been obsessed with horses for ever and i've been riding since i wa 7. i love it!!! I first fell in love with yorkeis when we got bandit. then when he died i had to have another one. so we got tucker. he is my baby. then there's donny osmond. i plan on marrying his son chris who is 14. he is the same age as my brother so i might have a chance. i'm the same religion as donny so my brother and chris might go on a mission for our church togeather. (i hope) i've met donny 4 times.

I'm 12 years old and going into 7th grade in the fall. i love school but i can't stand math. my best subject is english. when i grow up i want to be a veternarian and president so i need your vote. LOL

While that may be true, I'd venture to say that YT has the best looking online forum members! Add their kind yorkie loving hearts, intelligence and humor and this group will really give them a run for their money!

Hey I have an idea, maybe Oprah should have all of us in her audience. It can be a people and their pets shows or even better one of those "favorite things shows" with dog products. Where she gives us all lots of free dog goodies. ;)

Okay another Donny story for you...

My mom, when she was in collage, went to her friends sisters ward (church) and that was the ward Donny went to and he ended up sitting on the same bench as her.

Donny got up to go to the bathroom, and my mom (who was in love with him) wanted to touched him, so she put her foot out, meaning to barely brush his leg, but instead she accidently made him trip. :D :D

She still gets teased by some of her friends that she "tripped Donny Osmond"

My name is Astra and i am a web designer/graphic designer and have been about 7 years now. By day, I mange the Marketing Department for Century 21 and by night I do freelance web design. (although since I've had Bailey and discovered YT.com, I have not done any of that work stuff!) i'm 27 yrs old and live with my boyfriend and our new love Bailey in california.

Bailey was a wonderful gift from my boyfriend after my cat got liver cancer and is now watching down on me. RIP Daisey

Since I've had Bailey i have had no spare time to do anything! but play and cudle with him of course (he is so spoiled) but before him i enjoyed snowboarding, wakeboarding and anything that had to do with arts and crafts. i am now pondering quiting my day job and staying at home to make yorkie clothes. :)

i am very fortunate to be able to bring Bailey to work with me every day. he is now the office mascot and my official co-pilot.

This is a recent picture of me and the General. This is a thread I've enjoyed reading for the last couple of days. I wasn't able to respond until now since I've just had him for a week. Time flies when you're having fun.

A little about me. I am 49(OMG it is hard to believe I'll be turning the big 50 in Nov.). I lost my husband six years ago to Pancreatic Cancer(he was 43) and I have since been given a second chance at love. Currently, engaged for the past year. Once you lose someone you love so quickly, you definitely learn life's lessons. The first lesson of course is that life is not a dress rehearsal...you learn not to take things for granted any more.

I had a Yorkie(she was my present to myself when I got my Masters degree). Her name was Natica, and this Yorkie was HUMAN. She lived for seventeen wonderful years before I had to put her to sleep(I was with her right to the end). Three years ago, my friends discouraged me from getting another Yorkie for fear I'd be forever comparing her to Natica, and so I decided to get a Smooth Fox Terrier, named Isabella. Bella is wonderful, very energetic, playful and loving, but since I met my fiancee, he has stolen her from me(and she has fallen for him, pretty slutty of her) and so now I have a male Yorkie, whom I am hoping won't be drawn to my fiancee, though I must say he definitely has a way with animals.

I have been a psychiatric social worker since even before I got my Masters degree in Social Work in 1985 and have for the most part, enjoyed helping others. After my husband passed away, I needed time to grieve....and gradually fell out of love with my career. I have since made a career change....totally different...and I am now an Insurance agent, which I enjoy. I love to go to Breckenridge, Colorado, though I haven't gone as much in the past six years as much as I would have wanted. I own a Studio there in Breck in a great location, and even though I don't skiz(actually, I fall, lol), I love being there. There are many other things to do. Hi fellow YTers :) I'm Emily, 22 years old. I'm a part time customer representative and a marketing student. I have two wonderful pets. Monkey who's a white pomeranian and Pickles, a yorkie. My husband Kim is a Software Engineer and is turning 26 next month. I moved here from California about 4 years ago. I fell inlove with Austin right away. It's a wonderful city with a very laid back atmosphere. The weather's a lil rough sometimes but I've learned to adjust.

It's nice reading the replies on this thread. People from all walks of life sharing the same sentiments about yorkies :)

CFO sounds impressive, doesn't it?
Ok.... I recently took over all invoicing, billing, faxing, payroll, and financial obligations of my husband's company and work at home. My husband calls me his secretary but CFO sounds better. It's not impressive, I hate paperwork and being stuck behind a desk.
But somebody has to do it. It's flexible. I can work with my puppy sleeping on my lap. :)

I was a little sad because we wanted five children when we got married. I love children. I love people. It didn't happen for us. I was only pregnant twice. I'm very thankful to have 2 healthy children, a girl and boy! So since I'm 38 and it looks like that is it for chidren, we adopted a cute little Yorkie.

Sunshine is super cute! What a pretty family!

I have a 6 month old yorkie named Genie that is the little girl I always wanted. Even my boys are jealous. I am a pharmacist and own my own business. I am 23 years old, mother to a 5 yr old little girl Cierra Nicole. I have one 4 month old Yorkie named Rascal. I also have a terrior mix 1 year old female named Missy. I resucued Missy from a shelter and am so happy to have her she cracks me up everyday. Rascal is my cuddle bear, he will sit on the couch with me and wath love sappy movies, where as my significant other wont go near them LOL. I have been with my boyfriend for almost 7years now, first and only for me with him, and we have a beautiful daughter. I work 3rd shift 8:30pm to 6am. Now I come home and stay up all day untill Tom comes home from work. Everyone of my friends and family call me superwoman. I work all night and work all day as a stay at home mom. I cook, clean, and my favorite thing is to play with my kids. I have to admit though I am beginning to feel to old for my age. Come the weekends I am to tired to really do anything. My only hobbies are to make sure my family is well pervided for and that they are happy. That is hard work let me tell you. I work for a wherehouse corp. called APL Logistics. They contract through other companies. The one I am branced at is CASE NEW HOLLAND. They build construction equipment. I have my highschool diploma but that is as far as I have gotton so far, I dont plan on giving up anytime soon though.
It has been a pleasure getting to know people on YT. Everyone is so nice.

I don't think I ever posted on this thread because I couldn't figure out attachment, but now I can, yeah!!! There are 2 pics, one of me on vacation in Hawaii last summer and then one that my son took of me in a restaurant. You'll be able to differentiate.

I am the Office Manager for a General Surgeon's Practice in Cary, NC. I have been married since November 2003. I am the proud mommie of Zeus who turned 2 years old today and I have 2 fat cats, Oliver and Kaiser. The pictures attached are of me, me and my hubby and my little Zeus.
