What an awful shame that you were forced to spend so much time in such a miserable place. You must be bored to tears! . Those pics are awesome! Did you ever find time to sleep? Thanks for making us realize how hum-drum our lives really are . JK - glad you got the opportunity to have such a great time and for sharing all the wonderful pics. I almost feel like I am there, they are such great shots.

njoydaride, I swear I replied to you earlier but it didn't show up: We hated Waikiki, but were amazed at how different the pace was on the North Shore. I'm very jealous that you actually grew up there!

Yup, it's definitely different on the north shore! It's like our own little bubble. Did you know that our county's city council opposed McDonald's being built there? It was a HUGE debate. Every other store / restaurant there is a mom and pop type shop.
