| Web site optimization Does anyone either work in website optimization or employee a company or person that does. I am looking into hiring someone and don't know much about it. I am so overwhelmed by this type of project and the prices vary it would be nice to talk with someone I could trust, and LOL I would trust a yorkie talk member more than most other people I meet thanks

| Are you trying to start/ build a website? What do you mean by optimization? I built my own site using Yola, they have excellent customer service & their learning tutorials are great. I'm not an expert by any means, but I can help if I can!

| I currently have a web site and not looking for a new one. My business is based on selling replacement filters that go in industrial brand name equipment. often a plant mgr will search for "A or B" brand filter. When that happens I would like my web site to come up towards the front. A perfect example of this is, I just did a search for Isle of Dog Shampoo, Topline did not appear in my google search so if I did not know Jenny from YT I would not know she sold that brand. Larger companies like PetCo popped up. That is because they pay people to make sure that their web site is pulled up before other sites selling the same product does. I can not afford to spend what PetCo would so I need to find someone just starting off in the business or someone that might be moonlighting, a college student and so forth. Web site optimization is a new and ever changing business. There are many people that charge tremendous fees and don't really produce results so finding the right person or company that does not rip me off or charges a thousand or more a month is a daunting task especially since I am so challenged in this area, half the time I do not even know the meaning of the words used to explain how and what they do. Talking about this gives me hot flashes.

| I have worked at one of the top 5 SEO companies for 5 years and now manage my own website. I don't have all that much time to offer assistance however I can take a look at your website and give you a few tips before you go out and hire someone.

| haha yeah it is a tricky world isn't it. I would't be much help as an assistant either as I have only dabbled in it but wish you luck finding someone who is productive.

| Oh gosh, I have no idea. We were told that the more social media you have (Facebook, Twitter, BBB, etc) the higher you will pop up but I also think those at the top pay for advertising. If you figure it out for inexpensive, share with me the info. Right now, I have no idea where my website would show up- I just made it and used a simple go daddy builder lol.

| Here is the link to my website, Karen if you have any ideas that would be great. It's not a great web site and it is not designed for people to purchase from, pricing on the site would be a nightmare to manage and since I sell to both distributors and to end users pricing is often dictated by what the item needs to be sold at on that day to get the job. Also if the wrong filter or filter material was sold and used and did not work properly it could shut a factory down. I have customers that will pay more to have filters overnighted to them then the filter costs because they had a fire in their unit or smoke is coming out in the plant or parking lot and they are at risk of OSHA shutting them down. All the filters have different lead times and sometimes they don't have a good part number so unfortunately until they have bought the filter the first time it is hard to buy through a shopping cart. So my aim is to be found and contacted I have been told that it is write and link articles and stuff to your site, I am going to look into that more and figure some things out I can do on my own. So any tips any of have will be much appreciated. Filters for Every Application, Custom Filters, Dust Filters, Bag Filters, Air Intake Filters, Hepa Asrea Filters, 48329

| Donna, from someone I know. His company pays a full time person to do all of this. It's all about back links basically. You want blogs, news articles, press releases, and so forth writing about your website. It's hard and it costs money to do it right. The other thing is you need good content (text) on your site. Nothing spammy. Just valuable info for people to visit your site. I would try to do the things suggested....put lots of stuff on your site about your products. Extra pages and all.

This motivational class I took was great and it had given me a the kick in the butt I need and one of them is to get a web site that makes me money. So if you don't see me as much on YT it's because I am forcing myself to take care of this web site stuff and prospect more, oh and go to the gym more. Yuck it's so much easier to be on YT and Facebook
