It is 3:50 pm on a cloudy day at 76 degrees Fahrenheit. I am in Arkansas and we have crazy weather. Tomorrow's forecast is a high of 50 degrees and a low of 25 degrees. With a chance of freezing rain. Today I run the air conditioner and tomorrow I run the heat. :eek: Now figure this one out. :confused:

lol we dont have or shud i say dont need air condition here, it always cool even in the summer, we lucky to have a weeks of good weather, and the highest ive ever remembered was 29 c , I WANT TO MOVE SO I CAN HAVE A LOVELY TAN ALL YEAR ROUND lol:D

Come to Cali then! We usually have pretty good weather. It was super hot the last few weeks, hitting 80-90 degrees Fahrenheit. (about 26-32 Celsius) This week we are in the 50's. Not that bad really, but still cold for us hot blooded SoCal people. ;)

omg! how lucky are you all, isnt it funny how our bodies adapt to weather, i could nt imagin i cud stick your higest warmest days,anything over 25 c and i hide lol:D

ive been told that in canada they have buldings under ground[ below their houses] to cope with the severe weather, is this true, if its not i apologise:rolleyes:, and how do you cope with heating , i ask because the oil and gas here is a shocking price, and some people have died because they cud not afford the heat, it gets at worst here - 9. and when there is a skif of snow the whole country is at a stand still:rolleyes:

Hi there! I am from Canada, not sure what you mean by buildings underground? Honestly, I haven't heard of that! Is it possible you are thinking of basements? It's kind of funny how people from other countries perceive us in Canada. I can't tell you how many times I have been asked if we live in igloos or do we have dogsleds to get around! Way too funny! Our heat is powered by Natural gas. Most of the time, the bills aren't too high, we pay about $150 per month in the winter time(for a 1900 sq foot home).

It's 3:26 pm in Calgary, Alberta(Canada), and it's +2 deg C. Yesterday, can you believe it when I came to work at 6:30 am it was -29C, (with the windchill it felt like -40C)! Wow, what a difference a day can make in this crazy part of the world!:) When it's that cold, my babies RUN from the door when it's opened, and will not, under any circumstances step outside-good thing for pee pee pads! :aimeeyork

Most houses here in Canada have basements, if that's what you're talking about! It has nothing to do with coping with weather though, because the ground freezes anyway! As Judylynne said, we have natural gas heating, although some places just have electric heat but THAT is expensive! Even if gas bills are not paid, they can not turn off your heat completely (at least here in Saskatchewan!) because pipes will freeze and burst. Our bills are about the same as Judylynne's and we have two furnaces for our 2.5 storey house (one for basement and main floor, one for second and top floor!)

I met some guys at a hotel in Mexico, and they were from California and they had run down to Mexico after it got down to almost freezing where they were from. We told them there was a blizzard back home and it was -50 degrees Celsius with windchill. One guy said he couldn't stand that, he went to Michigan once and he was so cold. His friend said "Yeah but that's just Michigan, these people are from CANADA!" because you know as soon as you step over that magical border it's a frozen wasteland up here :rolleyes: :D

80's and 90's are nothing! We hit triple digits in the summer. :p

It is 3:16 pm and 62 degrees. My apt feels like it's in the low 50's. My place is so cold!!!

It's 32 degrees (0 C) and I think the high today was 35. It's supposed to be a warm 47 degrees tomorrow and then closer to 60 over the weekend.

i gonna apologize to the canadians, i wud believe anything lol, one thing im sure is true that u have winter wheels for ur cars or chains is that the law? now i wud never of been so stupid as to think about the iglo, even though im irish and u know what people think of us,, thick,stupid etc,lol oh and we are small and green:lol tears

We just returned from our walk a little while ago. It's about 55 degrees and sunny with no wind. I'm enjoying it while I can. Who knows what we'll have in a few days?

COLD COLD COLD COLD!!! It is 4:28pm and 27*F or -3*C. It feels even colder because of the wind but brrrrrr!! Then it's kind of an over-cast, not sunny,but not rain clouds.

I love this... I'm late I know, but I wanted to add. It's 8:45pm here in Southern NH and its very cold tonight, only 32 and will drop to 28. We had light snow flurries but nothing major, and Its slightly windy here. :)

Today it's 57 degrees F. (13.89C), warm and sunny, and the topper is nearly 40 mile per hour wind gusts.:D

I'm going to Ireland next year, and I'm hoping I can bring a leprechaun home in my pocket :D Lol. My boyfriend worked there for a bit and said it's beautiful so that's why we're going back :)

Today is -7 degrees C and it is lightly snowing :) There is a windchill of -12!

Today it's 64 degrees.:D Don't be jealous, because with our weather tomorrow we could be 20 degrees and buried in snow. The weather here is crazy anymore.
