And yes, I give advice to friends and family in much the same way. I'm probably much nicer about it here because the dogs that my family owns are my family too and I want to see them healthy and I don't want to see my family hurt. |

I have to say, after having seen this debate take place approximately 8,344,398,348 times here... it's not going to change. There's a wide range of sensitivities here, and unfortunately, a few people choose to be very ill-mannered. I've seen several people basically say that they are absolutely not open to change since they are already without flaw, so there you go. It's a big forum, and there are lots of great people and a lot of great information. Negative experiences tend to get more of our attention, that's just how we're built. Our dogs are the same way! So sometimes we may need to make an effort to focus on the many, many positive things, even when there is just that one maddening comment you can't get out of your head. |
Now I'm starting to get pissed off because it seems that some of you are making EXCUSES for people being rude. There is NO excuse for it. Yea people have different ways of expressing themselves, & "that's just the way it is"..."nothing is going to change that"....but its still wrong POINT BLANK PERIOD & the OP has a RIGHT to point that out. Then some of you are saying there's no "meanies" on here??...HA! well I don't know what dream realm you're living in but there DEFINATELY are some here....Ive seen it & I've only been here for a month! I haven't seen any "whiners" yet but like meanies I'm pretty sure they're out there. I do agree that there are some members on here that can be rude, but are the most helpful. That doesn't change the fact that its still wrong to be rude! So.....if I donated a million dollars to charity, then one day decide to throw an old man out of his wheelchair....do I get a pass because I donated to charity?...NO! Lol & there's a difference between making your point clear & being plain rude. If your breath is smelling unpleasant one day...would you want someone to flat out tell you "You're breath stinks!" .....no you would want them to tell you in a RESPECTFUL manner....idc how passionate you are be RESPECTFUL! ;) that should be applied here! This is not "BluntTalk.com"! & since its ok to be rude cause "that's just the way it is" I will make sure im rude right back! :) :) :) & to that comment about how you " Hate these type of threads" if you hate them why open it & then POST in it?...........just a thought *shrugs shoulders* :-\ I hope I didn't burn any bridges here.....I'm really a sweet girl I swear I am....But I felt this had to be said. |

On a side note...I have always found it insanely hypocritical for people to complain about the "rudeness" of members by posting up calling them names, like gangster, dwarf, clique, etc. Riiiiiight, honest answer = rude, name calling = no rude and certainly not whiney  |

Just to add, I think that if someone comes on here with a question like "Someone tell me how to breed my 3 lb, puppy mill female" that is a cryin' shame and disservice to the dog for no one to speak up. But heaven forbid, that wasn't the question asked, just answer the question and give them the info they want....:thumbdown:mad: Thank heavens there are enough people on here who don't care if they are called nasty names by people who are over sensitive and will speak up in the best interested of the DOG FIRST and the person responsible for the dog's suffering LAST. (Oh, and as for why people post that they are tired of these threads....it's called sarchasm. I thought that was pretty obvious, but I guess not everyone "got it.") |

i certainly do NOT think i am a hypocrite for calling ANYONE mean. i call them how i see them. i suppose if your one of the nice people, maybe the word "MEANIE" wouldn't bother you so much. let me rephrase myself. IS ANYONE ELSE SICK AND TIRED OF MEMBERS ON YT WHO DON'T SAY NICE THINGS. i bet you still would have come on here with the same argument. |
