You're better anyway lol ;) Okay now that the ranting is out of the way....what's your name & what does it mean? My name is Claribel & it means bright & beautiful (clara + belle) I'm not sure where it's from since I've heard everything from England to France but all I know is whenever an older person hears it they ask if my parents named me after the clown from Howdy Doody lol....they didn't! :p |

Wow. I am 'pearl....of spring" using both my first and middle name. However....I was born in December (23) so it's hard to figure how I could be a pearl of spring.:D And I never ever tell my middle name. That's how much I hate it.:D |

Actually my mom wanted to just name me Nikki after her swim coach and my grandmother convinced her it would be highly improper on graduation, wedding, birth announcements. She named me Angela Nicole to make my grandmother happy but now tells everyone that because I was born around Christmas, she named me Angela because I was her Christmas angel, lol. Total BS. I've never been called anything but Nikki and much to my sweet grandmother's chagrin, Nikki is what has appeared on all of the formal invitations. :D |

Here's what I found about Marie: It says....It is the same as Mary...... MARY Gender: Feminine Usage: English, Biblical Pronounced: MER-ee [key] Usual English form of Maria, which was the Latin form of the New Testament Greek names Μαριαμ (Mariam) or Μαρια (Maria) (the spellings are interchangeable), which were from the Hebrew name מִרְיָם (Miryam). The meaning is not known for certain, but there are several theories including "sea of bitterness", "rebelliousness", and "wished for child". However it was most likely originally an Egyptian name, perhaps derived in part from mry "beloved" or mr "love". This is the name of several New Testament characters, most importantly Mary the virgin mother of Jesus, and Mary Magdalene. Two queens of England have had this name, as well as a Queen of Scotland, Mary Queen of Scots. |
Well... I have two yorkies both named Paris...I am not very creative. :( In my own defense, the second Paris came to live with us when she was already 3 years old and was already named Paris... Now all three come when I say "Paris come here". :D |

My first name is Elisha, which is Hebrew and means "God Is My Salvation". My middle name is Ann, which is ALSO Hebrew and means Gracious and/or Merciful. I hated my first name growing up because it technically is a boy's name, but now I actually wouldn't change it for anything. And I like Ann just fine too, although after watching & reading "Anne of Green Gables" I always wished it was Ann with an "e". This is a fun thread :) |

Of course you are a female, dear!! lol |

LMAO!!!![QUOTE] I found another meaning. You are a ewe.... RAE Gender: Feminine & Masculine (RAY) Usage: English Pronounced: RAY Short form of RACHEL. It can also be a masculine variant or a feminine form of RAY. __________________________________________________ ___________- RACHEL Gender: Feminine Usage: English, Jewish, French, German, Biblical Other Scripts: רָחֵל (Hebrew) Pronounced: RAY-chel (English), ra-SHEL (French) Means "ewe" in Hebrew. She was the favourite wife of Jacob and the mother of Joseph and Benjamin in the Old Testament. |
