I've been predicting David Cook since the very beginning. He's both polished and gritty. More musician than D.A. and just as good a vocalist.

I think he will win. I believe he should win.

Getting back on the Jason thing for a minute (sorry), I'm not saying he isn't a good person. I've read some interviews and stuff from him, and he sounds like one of the sweetest people in the world. I'm sure he's a WONDERFUL person. But, like I've been saying in ever conversation I've had about American Idol, personality, looks, etc., aren't what this contest is about. Maybe it should be, because its called "American Idol" which would mean the Idol of America. But its a singing competition, people should be in it based on how they sing, not what kind of life they live away from the stage. Not saying that a murderer should be on stage or something lol, but Jason being a good person isn't a reason for him to still be on the show.

I'm not trying to offend anyone (especially Jason) with this, because I'd be a fan of him as a PERSON, but I don't think he should still be there because I don't think he's the best singer. And that doesn't mean I don't think he's a GOOD singer, cause I certainly do. But I don't think he's one of the top 4 singers in the country, either.

I'll stop rambling about it now haha.

I'd be happy with either David winning. Who do you guys think is going to go this week?

Down to the nitty-gritty now. I think it should be Jason...but probably Syesha is going home.

We say yes to David A. and a big NO to Jason. Jason really struck out the last two weeks as he did not know anything about Andrew Lloyd Weber and Neil Diamond. We feel that he showed his true colors and is not a true musician.

I wonder if the going home thing is more about someone getting anxious about doing a hometown visit like they do for the finalist - can't remember when they usually do that -- is it like when 3 are left or 4?

Oh, I'll bet so. That should be in the next week or so. I'd never even been to the AI website before I don't think, but I watched the Top 5 Videos on the website for David C and Jason (didn't have time to watch them all). The difference between the two was funny. While David C is pretty well-spoken, Jason had a little trouble putting a sentence together. ;) For totally different reasons (and I'll give Megan that Jason is not the best singer), these two are my favs to watch.

The top 3 will be returning home with AI cameras in tow this week. Here in College Station, they are planning a big thing for this Thursday if Jason makes it to the top 3.

What I want to happen won't this week.....so maybe I won't watch. Ha, don't bet on that.

Okay....it was nothing (in regards to the post I made earlier).....

It was an interview that ET did and it was Jason....he just commented on, "if I get the votes to stay, that is great, but if not, that is okay because I am kind of ready to go home anyway".

So, the news person built that little segment up just a tad!:rolleyes: Because when I heard that preview (of the news), I couldn't figure out which of the three guys wanted to "go home"!:rolleyes:
