My little nephew's Goldfish "Popeye" died last week, so my sister went and bought him another one. Check out his ADORABLE new little Goldfish named Chubby! :D I seriously think this is the CUTEST little goldfish I have ever seen! And it is MUCH cuter in person!! It's little face looks like a preemie baby or something LOL :p It is just so precious! :D

Just thought I'd share the cuteness LOL :p

Chubby's a very suitable name. He's cute...

Not to put a damper on your thread but my daughter had a goldfish who lived forever...well not...forever but a dang long time. So he dies, buy another, that one dies, buy another...and so on and so on for awhile. I don't know what we were doing differently but none ever lived as long as that first fish.

Very cute. I love goldfish, we have some in a 55 gal tank in the dining room, we had very several years and they are getting so big. we just love watching them.

AWWW!! that is a cutie!!! I LOVE goldfish!! I use to have some but my apt only allows a 10g so i had to sell the 29 i had them in and my friend has my goldfish so i still get to see them on her webcam! They are so fun and peaceful!!!

He is pretty! What an ODD comparison- a preemie baby?? :p

I love Goldfish.. I had one that lived for almost a year but I got another goldfish and I think the new one gave my old one an illness. :( Everything that I gave up and just stick to bettas (they are really hardy- you can leave them alone when you go on vacation, they travel well.. I take them home (5 hour drive) when I'm on Christmas break). I have about ten of them now! I have one that I've had for over two years now.

Yeah I have a betta as well !!! I've had mine so far 3 years and he is so cute he is a purple and pink one...

That is a cute little goldfish. We have two goldfish that my Husband won for My Daughter at the carnival. They were tiny when they brought them home but now they are quite large

That's exactly what I was thinking :) If Tator was a fish that's just what she would look like!!!

LOl Awww how cute is chubby:) My sister just bought the kids a hamster and named him elvis:) thought that was so cute:) he is a fatty to, i said i hope he is not a she:p

aaawww! it is very cute for a Goldfish! my son has 2, they are called Joey & Chandler!:rolleyes: one he got at a fair and then we bought it a friend from a shop, they fought like mad at first though, but now they seem to have accepted one another. someone told me they can get quite big and live for years.

Awww, I know :( The goldfish that he had that just died he had for about a year...then one day I went to their house and noticed that one of his eyes was looking bigger than the other, and I told my sister - uh oh...I think Popeye is sick :( Well I must of jinxed the poor little guy, because a few days later my sister called me and said that my little nephew ran out of his room screaming, "OH NO!!! POPEYE'S FLOATING AT THE TOP!!! :(" lol - poor little guy! :(

It really is hard to keep them alive sometimes....once they get sick, it's pretty much impossible to get them better :(

I know, me too! :D I love them, but they are a very "messy" fish :eek: Soo cute though! Back when I lived at home with my mom (before I was married) we had a HUGE fish tank and several goldfish in there. They got H-U-G-E! My mom decided that she wanted to change it as we had the goldfish in there for years, so we took the goldfish we had to one of the fish shops in exchange for different types of fish (ones that could be in the same tank without killing each other LOL). Well we also had a HUGE Algae Eater in the tank...which the fish shop didn't need....so they suggested that we let him go at the park in one of the big ponds there, and that is what we did. I'm sure he is in heaven there and probably bigger than ever by now :p

Awww, well thats a bummer that you couldn't keep them! :( But at least you still get to see them on the webcam...hehe, that's so cute! :D I just love goldfish too - and you are so right, it is SO peaceful to just sit back and watch them swim! :)

LOL :laugh: It did sound kind of odd now that I went back and read it :p :p What I meant was...you know how preemie babies have that "tiny" look to their face??? Like you can just tell right away how small they are just by looking at their "little" features? :p Well I swear when you see this little fish in person, thats just what he/she reminds you of :p It isn't a "baby" fish...but it LOOKS like one. It's face just has that "little baby" look to it - like it isn't grown and developed into an adult fish yet, but really, it is LOL. I don't know, hard to explain into words I guess LOL :p

ANYWAY - :D I know what you mean about the Bettas, they are a really easy fish to care for - meaning they always seem to live the longest! I love their tails too, so pretty!

I really love the tiny little Neons...and I like the fact that you can get soo many of them because they are so little, but every single time we bought them, they would die within DAYS! I don't know why, but those things just never worked for us :(

Awww, they ARE really cute - I love them too! Their tails are so pretty, and their colors too :) They are an aggressive fish though right? They have to be by themselves if I'm not mistaken?

OMG Jeanne, lol!! I swear to you I thought the EXACT same thing! It is just so funny you said this because my sister and I both said today..."OMG, it looks like Tatum in FISH FORM!" LOL :laugh:
