I made some sunflower seed cookies yesterday, and some strawberry bread last week, and two batches of fudge. Since we are not having a big Christmas dinner, I think thats it for me. |
I'm going to try to get some done today. Providing that my back holds up. |
I am making sugar cookies and gingerbread today. Yum! I made milk chocolate fudge yesterday... Hey! What do you call Chex mix in your house if it's homemade? We call it "trash" and we get weird looks! lol! My husband made some of that a couple of days ago. :) His best batch ever! |

Thank you Judy so much. I'm going to try a batch with milk chocolate chips.:D |
Milk Chocolate Fudge Milk Chocolate Fudge 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine 4-1/2 cups sugar 1 can (13 oz) of evaporated milk [I use the 12 ounce can if I can't find this] 3 packages (12oz) milk chocolate chips 1 jar (7 oz) marshmallow creme 3 cups chopped pecans [optional] 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla Bring butter, sugar and milk to a full rolling boil in a heavy 4-quart saucepan, stirring constantly. Boil 5 minutes over medium heat stirring constantly to avoid scorching. [You will notice a slight change in smell and color when it's ready.] Remove from heat. Gradually stir in chocolate chips until melted. Add remaining ingredients; beat until well blended. Pour into greased 13x9 inch pan. Cool; cut into squares. Enjoy! :D |
Haha, I thought you weren't giving up the family recipe, so I was going to use the one I had. Thank you!! I'm going to give this one a try. |
