Great question. I am planning take a taxi but if a shuttle can be arranged, all the better :)

Yes - I talked to SuperShuttle about arranging for group shuttle service, but since there are so few of us flying in (only about 9), the group shuttle won't work out. The hotel shuttle only runs within 2 miles of the hotel, so you'll have to provide your own transportation to the hotel. Go ahead and make your reservation through Welcome to SuperShuttle.com. I believe when I originally priced them, it was about $18 each way (not including tip). I always use Super Shuttle when I travel for work, and they're very reliable.

OK, I didn't know there were that few flying in. I'm on hold with SS right now, and I was gonna ask about a group of 10, but sounds like that won't work anyway.

It's up to you, but I presume taxi will be very expensive since the hotel is about 30 minutes from the airport. If I were you, I would take SuperShuttle, which I think will run you about $18 each way (plus tip). I spoke to the SuperShuttle customer service, and they confirmed they DO allow dogs on their vans, as long as you're holding it or it's in its kennel.

OK, I didn't know there were that few flying in. I'm on hold with SS right now, and I was gonna ask about a group of 10, but sounds like that won't work anyway.

PS.. Entertainment guide and AAA offers $2 discount each way for SS..

When I spoke to them about a group rate, they wanted us to all be flying in about the same time too, which is definitely NOT the case. The count of 9 includes Teri (LuvMyPrinceKobi) who is flying in on Tuesday; and Dee (scrapindee), Kathy (KathyinCali), and myself (arriving Thursday). So, there are only about 5 flying in on Friday...

If so I can get you when Rose and I go by...It might be a tight fit in the jeep but we can do it;)

Thanks!! :) My flight comes in Friday at 1:53pm. So after getting baggage and all, probably around 3:00pm I'd be ready to roll.

Misty, KC airport is nothing like LA! If you land at 2:00 and are on time you will probably be ready to leave by 2:30 unless you run into an unforeseen problem. Baggage pick up is right there by the gates and you just have to wait for the stuff off the plane and out the door you go! Very easy.

I am about 3 hours from KC so I will be Driving there with Rose.. and 3 maybe 4 Yorkies :) I hope I can Help you out :) We will just cordanate our Trip to get us to the Airport to get you :)

Thanks! :luvu:That would be really great! In the meantime, I do have the supershuttle reservation, and they said I can cancel within 4 hours of the scheduled time for a full refund if I don't need to use them!

Agreed. That airport is great if you are coming or going from it. Its a pain if its your connection airport.
