So far, it sounds like nutrition and grooming/top knots are two popular topics that people would like to hear about. Maybe we could have a speaker for each of those topics, and then still do some "fun" activities (fashion show, award ceremony, etc.). I'm recording each of your responses so I can easily see what ideas are getting the most "votes".

Now...regarding speakers...does anyone know anyone in the KC area who would be willing to speak on nutrition or grooming/top knots? Or are any of you YT members who are attending well versed in those subjects? If not, I can try to contact random groomers and such in the area, but we won't really know how "good" they are, so I'd rather go with a recommendation if possible.

Looks like we're shaping up really nicely here!!!!!

As far as shopping goes, right now we only have a handful of vendors registered. We have tons of YT vendors, so I'm hoping lots more will register. I'm also hoping 3 Dog Bakery will become a vendor and we will also be asking the dog boutique from Westport if they are interested.

On a personal note, as a vendor - what type of items would you like to see me bring???

Does anyone know if airlines will allow one person to carry on 2 dogs (assuming they're in the same carrier) ? I'd love to go but can't imagine leaving one of the boys at home.

I had no trouble with Northwest - check the traveling with pets section - there is a great big thread about traveling with 2

Can you check with YTCA and see who lives in the KC area - maybe someone would be willing to come and talk with us.

NWA allows 2 dogs per cabin so if you book early you can be assured you meet their quota requirement . . .you just pay double of course, even if they are sharing a bag :) and they have about one of the cheapest fares for our babies at $80 one way.

Jodie bring some of your new tulle tu-tu skirts and if you make anything with cupcakes I'm sure they will sell.;)

Great to know - thanks Des! I was looking at NWA already. I'll have to get a bigger bag the boys can share. I'll check dates with hubby and see what I can do!!

There's no name for #18 - is that where Denise was listed or is someone else suppose to be there?

That was actually Missy's (yougetthesmiles) registration number. She had to cancel her reservation for now since Denise was her road buddy and isn't able to go anymore. I think she's hoping to still work it out so she can attend though.

It's not that long for us (about 6 or 7 hours) but like I said in an earlier post.. If Missy doesn't get a driving buddy... we're going to get her... so it's gonna be like 10 for us
