I completely agree. If you look at the tentative schedule I posted back on the very first page of this thread, I allowed an hour (although obviously this "schedule" is VERY flexible and just to give us an outline of what will happen) for "Official YT Introductions/Welcome". I figured we'd all just stand up at our tables and introduce ourselves and our babies. I don't think it will take very long - even with a lot of attendees.

As for the name tags, each person who registers will receive a name tag (that's why I'm asking for everyone's "real" names when I respond to your registration payments), and that will be your "ticket" to enjoy breakfast and such. I don't want to have to police who did or did not pay, but I don't want to risk "extras" showing up either and eating off the continental breakfast table, so that there may not be enough food left for those who did pay. I also don't want random people walking among our dogs, because you never know when it could be an unwelcome "bad guy". I'm sure I'm being too worrisome here, but I just want to make sure all avenues are covered. SO...we'll each just have to keep an eye out that no random people are there that DON'T have a name tag...

yep...definitely want to keep any potential "bad guys" out. If you think about it, this meetup is public info and anyone can see that a lot of yorkies are going to be in one location...so we really do need to be careful and keep an eye on our babies.

You never know... like I said, this meetup info is out for anyone to see. People steal yorkies all the time...someone might thing our meetup is an easy target. I know people have joked about letting our yorkies run around the ballroom and around the hallways...but we need to keep an eye on our dogs at all times just to be safe.

Unless they have a special room for the YT continental breakfast, it may be hard to know who paid and who didn't. As they will be holding continental breakfast for all the guests of the hotel, and there will be others who aren't in the YT meetup.
