OK everyone this is what I have in the works and would LOVE everyones Feedback....... Drumroll please: :cool: The 1st Annual International YorkieTalk Awards Ceremony I am thinking of having around 5-6 categories but I need your help!! The 1st Category will be "Farthest Yter" Who traveled the most to get here The 2nd Category will Be "Most Yorkies Attended" (Who brings the most yorkies) The 3rd Category will be "Ms. Popular" "Most Posts" or Whatever you guys what to call this award (Who has the most posts out of everyone attending) The 4th Category will be "Best Dressed Boy" "Best Dressed Girl" Are there anymore categories that you guys would want to add?? Does everyone like this idea? We can play around with the name of the awards too but I just wanted to throw everything out there and see if we can get the ball rolling on the YORKIETALK AWARDS CEREMONY!! |

The "speaker" thing sounds great! I'd prefer to mingle more with each other (party?:rolleyes: :thumbup: ) and shop however. I think the "awards ceremony" would be cute! :thumbup: |

It would be nice to do an intro thing Saturday morning...where we can each stand up and tell everyone our name, YT name, and dogs' names. That way we know who is who (along with nametags) |

:) finally confirmed my flight last night . . . ended up using miles as the fare was just way too much :rolleyes: . . I was reluctant to give up my miles as they were asking for double but I guess it is better than paying $700 :eek: especially since the expense does not end there :) I can't wait to meet everyone . . .I will be calling this morning just to confirm there is no problem with Annika's reservations :) |

As for the name tags, each person who registers will receive a name tag (that's why I'm asking for everyone's "real" names when I respond to your registration payments), and that will be your "ticket" to enjoy breakfast and such. I don't want to have to police who did or did not pay, but I don't want to risk "extras" showing up either and eating off the continental breakfast table, so that there may not be enough food left for those who did pay. I also don't want random people walking among our dogs, because you never know when it could be an unwelcome "bad guy". I'm sure I'm being too worrisome here, but I just want to make sure all avenues are covered. SO...we'll each just have to keep an eye out that no random people are there that DON'T have a name tag... |
