| OMG look what I caught in my back yard!!!!!! I knew we have them here and I am always on the look out!. I think it is because the neighbor feeds the birds and such. I think he was after those birds. But man oh Man. I sent Amy out to Get that bird! She chased that mean ole bird away. Sorry if the pictures are bad I was taking it from the window. | That is great! I can't believe he was that close to you! ...I guess that isn't great because there are horror stories of hawks getting our babies, but man, how neat is that. I personally love hawks....we have a family of them here that we watched the babies grow and learn to fly, etc. Anytime we hear their call though, we make sure the little ones are inside!

| I always let the Big amy zooday and toys 263.jpg out first and she does her check the yard out thing. and then I will let the rest out... I will go out with them or stand at the storm door and keep watch. We live way to close to the woods not to be that careful. I hope everyone here is watching their own yards and the skys. I don't think this hawk was after my dogs just the little birds in that bush. But it is aways better to be safe. |
