Heidi's in doggy jail... 4 Attachment(s) Hey everyone, I know it's been a while since I have posted, but I took these pictures of Heidi and just had to share them. I went and bought a baby gate to keep Heidi in the kitchen while I'm not home and she absolutely hates it. So here are a few pics of Heidi in doggy jail... |
2 Attachment(s) and a couple more... |
awww....sorry she hates it but she sure is a very cute prisoner! |
She needs a little tin can to run up and down the gate. She's soooo cute, stickin her little nose through. |
Kitchen lockdown! Heidi does look sad in her new jail cell. My two have the same prison! Kitchen with 2 doors--both with child/doggie gates up. BUT in their "prison" are two beds, food, water, toys, and "what used to be 2 great looking kitchen throw rugs"--Oscar took care of the rugs!!!! They love to be in the kitchen when I am in there cooking, but hate it when I am in another room. I try to leave them alone in there for short intervals (15 minutes or so) while I am in another room. I want them to learn to like it before I go back to work this fall. They stand there looking "through the bars" just like Heidi! Cute little prisoners, though...mine will definitely get early parole!:) |

LOL I have a get out of jail free card if she wants its:p :p she is so cute behind bars. |
Hi Heidi!!! Hope she's old enough to be beyond the chewing stage, that looks just like the first baby gate that I got for my first Yorkie, Spencer...He chewed right through it. I now have a similar gate but it's got wire "bars" instead of plastic. Just a little food for thought!!! |
doggie jail Tricksie would have it chewed up in10 min. |

Now that you got me thinking about that...I wouldn't put it past Heidi to chew through it. Although, so far so good. I did worry about her climbing it though, she's quite the climber lol. She was so pitiful when I first put her in there, but I think she's starting to get used to it. It's funny b/c I've been keeping her in a crate when I'm not home and she never makes a fuss, but now that I moved her to kitchen, which is more freedom for her, she cries. So she thinks she's pitiful but really she's got a lot more space to play while I'm not home...silly dog. |
She'll learn to love it...both of mine have been confined to the kitchen when left alone. Spencer had to be coaxed in, but Winston goes in and jumps in his bed all by himself...he just knows when it's time for me to go. What a smarty pants he is!!! |
