My own little princess!!! 4 Attachment(s) I've been "stalking" the boards for a few weeks now. I kind of botched my Valentine's surprise... I was going to the local animal shelter to find a doggie that needed a home. My boyfriend (who lives back home in California) kept begging me not to get a dog. I finally told him that I can do whatever I want! :D So, he had to "ruin" my Valentine's surprise. He bought this little princess without me having any idea!!! The breeder says that she is a little spit fire. I've known about the her for about a month now. Today, I decided that she is an Isabella (Izzie.) She's my first yorkie. I have lots of experience with Labs, but this is a whole new thing for me and I'm *SO* excited and nervous all at the same time. I'm beginning to drive my roommate crazy!!! :) |
She certainly is a little princess. All she needs is a little crown. She gorgeous. ;) |

She's moving in with me on Wednesday the 14th. I'm not supposed to know that I'm waking up to Izzie on Valentine's Day. My boyfriend is telling me that we're picking her up on Thursday. Women always have their way of finding secrets!!! :) |

Welcome! Welcome to YT! Your little princess is just as cute as can be. And I like the name you've chosen. What a perfect Valentine's gift!!! |
He sent me a dozen hot pink and light pink roses last week. They are GORGEOUS!!! (AND still alive!!) :D The lady from the florist was going on and on about how great he seemed and "just wait 'til you see what he's getting you for Valentine's Day!" It's a long story, but we've been through A LOT together. He's finally coming around to being the great guy that I know he is. He spent quite a bit of time with his head stuck up his butt. I still love him though! :) |
OMG SHE IS SO CUTE, WHAT A WONDERFUL BOYFRIEND YOU HAVE:aimeeyork |

I know you said you had other dogs... but be prepared for this one to steal your heart forever. I don't know what it is about these dogs but I feel the same way I do for them as I do my own kiddos. I now have three of them!!! Be careful ;) |
Welcome to Yorkie Talk! She is beautiful! and your BF is a keeper! Love them both with all your heart and Happy Early Valentines Day to your new little family! |
Your furbaby is a wonderful idea. I also had a lab before I got a yorkie. I loved my lab, had her for almost 15 years. I said no more pups after she went to the rainbow bridge, (couldn't take the heartbreak) and then bam, I had a yorkie, now we have three yorkies and I have never been happier. Good luck and keep reading Yorkie Talk, it is a great site. |
Welcome, and you will see the people here are WONDERFUL. Ton's of advice, prayers and sympathy go out on here when needed. You have a cute puppy, don't forget the peepads. That's a cute rug under your feet. :aimeeyork |
Welcome to YT Curiousity killed the cat & ruined the puppy surprise:) |
Welcome. Your little girl is darling. Keep the BF too. |
My poor BF... He had somehow convinced my roommate to drive 90 miles (one way) to pick up Izzie from the breeder. Today, I accidentally dropped her cell phone in a glass of chocolate milk (don't ask me how I did it...I'm so dumb!) :p So, now her cell phone doesn't work... I already knew about Izzie...and I already knew that my roomie was picking her up (he was going to propose on Valentine's Day morning by having a "Will you marry me" engraved heart around Izzie's collar) My roommate knows that right now getting married is the last thing that I'm thinking about. (Plus, he lives in California!) So, she started freaking out and finally broke down and told me about the whole idea. He still doesn't know that I already knew about the surprise. Tonight, he called, "Amanda, I ruin every SINGLE surprise..." Poor guy, he was so upset that my roomie's phone was broken and he had no way of contacting her without asking me for her e-mail address...:D I guess that the breeder was cracking up when he called her today to say that he & I would be picking Izzie up... To make a LOOOOOOOOONG story a little shorter, I don't have to wait until next Wednesday to pick Izzie up. Ross (my B/F) is flying in from California on Sunday and we're picking Izzie up on Monday... YAY YAY!!! |
She certainly is a cutie! |
