| I think I have purchased almost everything out there and I usually end up with a bow with a band already attached because all of mine run out of patience so fast when I am doing their hair. I go with what's fastest. I like the claw clips too, but the metal ones seem too heavy. I use the plastic mostly. |

| i like all of them. we had a dogshow a while back and a lady was selling the bowtie bows but on the back of the bow it was a barrette and they work great so easy to get in and out. they looked reall easy to make. |

| I'm looking for one with a back clasp like this one... if someone finds them let me know.. if I could find these kind of backs I would love to make some bows with them.. I just think they would be easier to use..

| Schatzie uses both. The band for the top knot then a bow added, then I use one of those human girl metal snap barettes to keep her bangs up outta her eyes until it can reach the top knot bow.

| I use little girl barettes for Tia (for the 5 seconds she will keep them in) -- I am curious as to where you buy the elastic bands for the top knot.

| I should probably start using them to get Tia used to them. Her bands are now hanging in her eyes all the time - I'm hoping that the bands will hold in her hair better than the barrettes. Sandy's hair holds them with no problems though.

The french clips are there but I don't like the french clips.. They are too bulky.

| I find that the flat back barretes work better for Adina and me of course. I buy my bows at http://mollymariespretties.homestead.com/ they offer bands, flat back barrettes (our favorite) and the french clips. Check them out I am sure you will like her bows!!! Prissy012899 this is the only place I found online and I ordered them and can say I am happy with that store. Hope that link takes you directly to them. http://www.jewelryfindings-online.co...rch=fromSearch Smiles, Myra |

Thank You so much.. those are the ones I'm looking for.. I'm going to buy some and see what I come up with.. I'll check out the other site too.. Its hard finding bows with the flat backs.. I think they are perfect for puppies and small yorkies.

| Hey everyone, I am new here and this is my first post so bear with me. I have bought baby hair clips at wal-mart and other places even if they are ugly and I strip the stuff off of them and make new. Sometimes you can find barrets and clips that have the perfect hardware for really really cheap often times on clearance. I work for the Petco Grooming salon and I know that there are a few ladies that come in and order supplies like the little rubber bands from us. So you might want to try your local dog groomer and see if there is a chance that she could order you some things when she puts in her next order. Kelly |
