| "EARS" my question! Hi. My little Bruno is 12 weeks old now. He seems to have a pretty thick coat and I think that is why his ears are half up and half down. I think the hair is weighting them. I'm thinking about having the hair on his ear tips shaved to lighten the load. But I need everone's opinion. What if it looks dumb? He looks pretty darn cute with his "the flying nun" ears. I'm afraid I'll regret it. ????????? What do you all think? Thanks for your input!!

| If you tell the groomer (and IF the groomer listens to you) just to "TIP" his ears, it will help with trying to get them to stand up. Nothing is guarenteed tho. But if they don't stand up, there's a ton of suggested ways to tape them so they will stand. Personally, I have two that stand and four that don't. Some people INSIST that they stand. I just let nature do it's thing. I love them either way. Suz

| Our Toto was 16 weeks old when we brought her home and her little ears had just "popped" up. Maybe Bruno just needs a little more time! Our breeder showed me how to "tip" them ... just the upper 1/3 of the ear. Those little ears have been standing ever since! Patience, patience, Mom!!

| i had the groomer shave oliver's ears and I was so sad when they started "popping" up b/c I looooove them down- they never did fully pop and he's 6 months old (i'm secret hoping they don't!!!!) because I just love them down! It's all personal taste though! Goodluck! Here's Oliver with them down!!

| i think they look like they want to stand. It is really a personal preference. if you want them to stand, shave the tips and tape them. it really doesn't bother them. |
